Yay, the SS is back! I've had a busy week, so it's nice to finally sit down, if only for a few minutes, and enjoy some Miller Corner! :) New paint looks great! Hopefully it will last longer than the previous paint did... New wheel looks great as well! Definitely like it and your original wheel more than your more deep dish one, personally. This one just seems to fit the car's character a bit more :) Hopefully once a few more parts arrive I can do some housekeeping on Humdrum...I've started going out and doing my second job again with COVID restrictions here being relaxed a bit, but she could use a little TLC!

Love the new wheel! One nitpick: those shinny Phillips head screws look out of place in the otherwise black center. Have you considered replacing them with black Allen head screws?
I absolutely LOVE steering wheels like that, but not overly keen on losing my airbag. Not even sure whether it's legal or not to remove a driver's airbag from a car.
please don't do the weird cranking thing you did last time. there is still plenty of oil in the engine, the surface tension means it wont all drip down to the bottom. as long as you don't go red lining it down the street the moment it starts then you will be fine and you wont damage the starter.
mr miller ,young sir.👈😒 i am thinking that the yellow of the spray jet housing is slightly different from the yellow of the car. the paint could do with a white base coat, firstly to match that of the car's paint.👺🥣👀

It's certainly not preferable in the event of a crash, but in the UK it's totally legal to remove airbags :)

Clear coat the mirrors, that should prevent paint from getting sun burned and make them marginally more rock chip resistant

One cardinal mistake. That charger has a Halfords brand. Therefore expect it to last about 4 charges before failure.
We've had it getting on ten years now - charged all manner of cars and vans and never once given any trouble 😁
