Jacob should I replace the bearings even though they don't seem to be bad ,? other than the one that fell apart when you pulled up the T/A cause mine did the same thing ,still working on my 1256.

If they look good I wouldn’t worry about it.

Have you ever thought of putting an elimination kit in?

I was thinking about it first. But after taking to some people I talked my self out of it. Have you installed one ?

@@JacobsFarmLife yes I'm in the process of doing an 856 and was just wondering what your opinion was on the elimination kit if you know much about it?

Well doing a TA delete you’re going to cut your number of gears in half. So depends on if that’s going to affect your operation. Also from what I’ve seen it’s going to decrease the value of your tractor a lot. Going with a good TA you’re not going to be spending much more than a delete kit. A good TA installed and everything adjusted right should last you a very long time.

@@JacobsFarmLife yes I know it's going to cut the number of gears in half but most of my tractor's low ta doesn't work so I just run it in high anyways haha and weirdly enough when there's a tractor selling at a sale out here with a factory delete kit it actually goes quite high but I'm running mine for many years to come so that doesn't really matter. And yeah it would be great to have a working torque amplifier but I don't really ever want to rip this thing apart and replace it again I think I just put an elimination kit in once in a lifetime and be done with it. Plus a new torque amplifier is quite a bit of money compared to a delete kit in my opinion.

Yes It really depends on what you want I guess. If that’s what you’re wanting to do I would go for it. I know having a functional TA for running my bale wagon really helps out being able to adjust the speed on the fly. And what I’ve seen delete kits running around $500 and TA around $800. What ever you end up doing let me know how it turns out.
