IH is the best.
👍👍
Been there done that. Great looking back over my 80 years. Best memory is dropping the plow in the ground, opening the throttle and listen to the jingle rumble and the roar!
Hi I am a international fan I run a 685 turbo 1981and a B275 tractor .I run a small contracting run with a 440 and a claas 46 rotacut baler, manly doing hay .It's good to see all these big IH tractors and combines working. We are in Fairlie south island New Zealand cheers Neville.
It's nice to see some "true" red power still earning their keep.
👍👍
Yup
That 1566 looks and sounds fantastic. What an awesome piece of equipment!

Thank you for this video. I grew up in the 70's and 80's and can remember watching dad plant, harvest, and plow in the same way with green equipment. I can remember plowing everything then gradually changing to no-till. Now we are all minimum till. Great to see how things have changed and at the same time stayed the same. Thanks again.
Thank you for watching. I will make a video like this with John Deere tractors and combines.
Brings back memories
Miss International harvester ❤❤❤
Me too. I have great memories going to the local IH dealer as a kid.
1968 IH 856 diesel tractor, 1976 IH 1086 tractor, 6 row 40 inches Cyclo 500 planter and harvested with 1971 915 combine with 20 foot grain table up through 1999. Hardy machines that were enjoyable to operate most of the time! Thank you.
Great IH line up. Thank you for sharing.
Tractors, Plows, and Harvesters was the title of my favorite book as a kid! This is an awesome video!
Those hinge-in-the-middle articulated tractors are fascinating. The one at 5:15 looks very impressive.
But I love those big cabless tractors like the 856 at 6:20. They're real machines of character.
I started driving open station Inters when I was 12 years old ,nothing sounds like an IHC pulling hard.
I still run two 1420’s In Central IL
You just brought back my childhood! We need more I H in our lives!
😁👍👍. This was my childhood too.
Those big little grain wagon’s are the only ones that never lose an axle.
They are good gravity wagons.
Nice like the old red's 😉✌👍👍✌
👍👍
One of your best! I thoroughly enjoyed this!
This was a fun one to put together.
So nice to see the 'classics' in action. Fantastic channel, Jason!
It is fun getting to share these machines still hard at work.
That was really awesome to see all those internationals working in the field the way they were designed to
1466 is great auger tractor. Once the tractor's running I can do everything from the ground.
Seeing that 1460 brings back a lot of great childhood memories with grandpa!
😁👍
Gotta love the red power. Grandpa bought our 300 utility, 400, and 1066 new. Plus we added a 5288 a couple years ago to add a little more power around the farm.
Very nice line up.
This video took us back to the 80's style farming the good old days.....or so we thought 🤪
Hey Jason, nice tractor at 2:20!!😉👍Cool video as always.
I slipped my 4786 in for an appearance.
Great videos, I love watching all of your videos that include big red power. Here in MN I work with my grandfather on a farm and we use mainly big red classic tractors. And I at times I’ll show some of these videos to him and he is impressed by all of the classic red tractors you have filmed all over the great USA.
Thank you for watching. There is allot of great IH history out there to film. This was a fun video to put together to show some IH history in action.
Cool video nice to see international harvester at work. I've got 3 international tractors and 1 international plough. The tractors are 574 and to 434 and the plough is b13 3 furrow plough. 👍👌🍻
Great to see all this equipment with the real shade of red out earning its keep
I love the look of that 6788. The 2+2's look a little goofy with 4 singles, but with rear duals and front singles they look really cool. And the 60 series styling looks sharper than the 30-odd-88's, so I'd say that one is just about the perfect 2+2! (Except for the darn 12 speed transmission... bummer.) 6788 is a rare bird too, they say only 347 were ever built. If only the dual rims were silver instead of red, I think it would be the best looking 2+2 I've ever seen. Still super sharp though!
Great classic IH iron. We are running a 1086 for bailing and harrows. Just a small operation with wore out gear
Very cool. I like the 1086.
Love them old days and the red power doing the the work
😁👍
Still plant with our 1468 and 800 series planter
Very very cool. That would be an awesome set up to see.
A lot of these are still doing the job in my area.
👍👍
Love the old iron and that's neat to have all red one the farm. I kinda like that when they stay to one color.
They better keep those good old tractors running so when the new computerised equipment won't work anymore because of a E.M.P.
IH tractors were sure built to last.
Awesome 1460
Now this is truly a IH lovers video !!!!!!! Great job BTP 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for watching. I hoped IH fans would enjoy this one.
Thanks for the video. I can't wait for a video that shows the first year1480 combine. I worked for a custom harvester for two years, 1978/1979 and we had the 1480's. They could cover some acres.
I have filmed a 1460, 1440 and 1420. The 1480 has eluded me so far. It is in my wish list to find and film.
@@bigtractorpower Former 1480 owner here. Hope you find one soon Jason.
Great video really enjoyed seeing everything being used through the growing season! Thank you!
A real pretty, powerful sight ,BIG RED MACHINES!🇱🇷👍
Looks like my operation now
1980s in Rossville, IL, we'd plow in the fall, disc in the spring and drilled beans.
That was perfect timing. I've never seen a video with no views.
Thank you for watching the video early
Like the farmer to Non-Farmer explanation of land care use . Farmers feed/produce for the world.... Thanks Jason the time lines research great....
I thought this would be a good chance to show case farming. Thank you.
Great video
Thank you for watching.
Well done Jason , that’s the way I remember seeing it done just like you videoed here ! Thanks for much and Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas. I grew up watching these machines at work too. It was great to be able to have enough footage to put this together.
Very very very nice jason
Great to see the red classics getting the job done😉👍 awesome video👍
Great video buddy!
I have an international M and I use it to feed cows in the winter and I also have a big 460 I use the 460 to cut hay and rake hay and bale they are both excellent tractors everyone loves John Deere no international is ware it’s at
It’s going to see that old stuff in use
Great IH history in action.
Great video friend! It's way up there at the top of my favorite list!
I used to have a 955 2wd and changed it for a 955 4wd with turbo - it pulled like a train! Happy Christmas to all from Northern Ireland !
Great video, I just love the IH equipment. Thank you.
Farming has came a very long way, big tractor power i wish you a very happy xmas and a very blessed new year 2021, continue educating us via your videos
We have a 1206, 856, 186, 1256, and 1466 and we use them around the farm all the time!
Great line up. Thank you for watching.
Brilliant video, like the old reds in action, thanks for sharing
We have a 1486 white stripe, I don’t remember when it was made but it’s very good! We put a chrome stack on it and did a pump toon not too long ago, It mainly gets the hay work done like Mowing and Raking hay but sometimes it run out turbotill
Very cool. The white stripe 1486 was built from late 1976 to 1980. The tri stripe decal indicates a 1486 is a 1981 model.
Muy bueno el video
This is so nice. Thanks . My 766 in tractor has engine problems now. Need to fix it this winter. All around handy tractor on my farm.
I hope the 766 comes back on line quickly for you.
Good job.
We have a 5288 and a Farmall A my grandpa has a 1480, 1066, 966 a W6, Farmall super A, 230 swather, 403.
If it ain’t red leave it in the shed 🤪🤪🤪
20 bushel hoppers on the 955 they have extensions on
Hey Big tractor power my girls watched this video and said there were some red tractors. I like IH equipment like John Deere.
Thank you for watching. Stay tuned for John Deere version of this video.
@@bigtractorpower will do.
My grandfather bought a 1460 back in 1979. It was one of the first around. Everyone else was still running 915s. It was an amazing machine. I can't believe they are still running. I'm assuming getting parts is not an issue?
The 1460 was a big deal in the late 70’s. A completely new concept in threshing.
Doing it on all that red stuff just like when I was a kid back in the 70s
😁👍👍. That’s when I was growing up to.

Wow I am early.
😁👍👍
Did this farm buy all these tractors new ?
The machines in this video belong to several farms. This is a compilation of videos filmed in Illinois and Kentucky. I just thought it would be fun how they all would look on one farm.
Very nice👍Was that a btp 4 wheel drive tractor working ground?
Like 👏👏👍👍🚜🚜🇧🇷🇧🇷
👍
Thank you for watching.
Lovely video with red Machines. I have a question, in the video we see a 856 open platform tractor with cultivator. On the left fender there is a black Box. I often see that in tour videos of open platform tractors. May i ask what that is? Greetings from an old farmer in Denmark, who enjoy All you videos big time.
It might be a monitor, for something like a corn planter or it could be a radio. I'm thinking it's the latter. Regards!
We use to plant with a 1086 3 years ago now we plant with a 215
Wow big upgrade. 👍
We have dairy here in eastern Iowa and we use all International. One H ,M,300,400,706,806,1206,1066,1086,
1466,and a Magnum 7220 with front wheel assist. I'm glad to see a video with all IH again. I am sick of seeing mostly green.
We combine with a 1680
When I was a kid our "big " tractor was an international 656. I still use that tractor today.
Nice. I am a big 656 fan. Is yours a Hydro or gear drive ?
I drove a 656 to ,cool machine ,those narrow bonnet Farmals are iconic.
@@bigtractorpower gear drive
we run red.. we have a farmall A cultivision, farmall 400 with farmhand f-11 loader. then 5 years ago i bought a 1978 international harvester 1586 that will be taking the farmall 400's place.. o & we have a international harvester l130 truck that im working on.
Very cool equipment.
@@bigtractorpower it is 4 sure :)
Question do you have any Gleaner G open station combine videos. Field in Michigan
I do not. It would be great to find one to film.
@@bigtractorpower yes it would. I went on a wheat harvest back in 1971 we left Neosho Missouri and went to southern Texas and worked our way to northern Montana. Field in Michigan
I have one 966 international harverster in Vanuatu
Very nice.
That is neat. Did it come from Australia? It must have an interesting history.
IHC 1246 and 955 Europ
7:25 What is the benefit of cultivating between the rows?
It saves from spraying round up or herbicide, people that don't have alot of acreage will do that so that they don't have to spend a lot of money on roundup
The second scene in that segment shows him cultivating quite fast down the rows. Purpose is to throw dirt in between the rows to cover the weeds. It did make for fun cultivating compared to the first cultivating. But you had to pay attention going at that speed or you'd take out some crop if you got out of line with the row.
First
Thank you for your enthusiasm to watch the video early you were the first
@@bigtractorpower i love your vids man I've been watching them for a long time and my grandma is a Renner and her dad or brother i believe owns and runs Renner stock farms i belive but ill have to check.
Why do you say international harvester and not just international
The bane of the company was International Harvester. That is what it has IH as the logo and it is Case IH today.
@@bigtractorpower oh ok
