Look,at all the gold!! Beautiful sight! 😠😠👍
Can't go wrong having a little peek at some shiny
Your reasoning is very smart🙆♂, I don’t have any Tudor Beasts but they seem popular with some of the stackers/collectors but I must admit, I’m not struck with the Panther design 🙋🏻♂.J
Yeah I am curious to see the panther in bullion format. I quite like the style of the bullion ones 🧐
This is the video I've been searching for
Glad you found it 👍🏼 I have a few other videos with the Tudor beasts so far 4 bullion ones (I've gone for the 1 Oz and ¼ Oz)
@SovereignSaurus nice. I want to add some gold Tudor Beasts to my stack, they're awesome. But not many vids out there about them. Premiums seem to be low. I'm surprised more people don't stack them. The silver ones are also absolute beauties.
What do you think of the Dragon now? I notice the mintage of the 2oz is very low now! Really cool 😎
I'm not super excited about it but hopefully it'll look better in person 🤔
Nice stack mate! The 1oz gold TB lions were only mid £1500 not that long ago, give it a couple years and I'll be amazed if they are less than 2k each......which poses a problem at what point will a 1oz gold bullion coin be too expensive to buy for the normal/ casual sacker?.............Jubilee sovereigns (especially proof Jubilees) are doing very nice at the moment.
Thanks mate. I think it's never been easier for people to earn money. The sort of purchasing power people can achieve now without needing huge capital, man power, premises etc is amazing. So much money about these days I don't expect people to stop buying 1 Oz coins any time soon
Awesome!! I hope to get the 1oz Bull and the Platinum next month! I finally got my three 10oz Bulls, and five of the 2oz coins. I love the Tudor Beasts, I missed the Queen's series.
Fantastic, that sounds like an awesome collection in the making!
@@SovereignSaurus I agree, I think it is an awesome collection in the making! They are spread out, that helps with the budget.
@@SovereignSaurus I'm also doing the Proof/Reverse Proof 1oz Silver for the Tudor Beasts. Very limited, and I love them! The Bull of Clarence should show up next week!
I like the Tudor beasts .. however although I was collecting the one ounce silver proofs .. after sending so many back for defects... (seriously bad quality) I'm going to cancel the silver and stick with gold! I was buying silver two ounce bullion also , but is it ever going to be worth anything.. I feel silver is stagnant ...
Is that line of dinks below the bulls chin on the one ounce gold actually on the coin or the capsule?
I also think like many.. it's about time they released the beasts we all want to see... dragons , panthers and last lion ... because I think if the designs are good ... then it could prove to be more popular than the queens beast series .. IMO
Some great points, I agree with the beasts you'd think they'd lead with the more exciting coins, like with the QB I wasn't that interested in a white horse, or greyhound but I would have picked them up to finish the set once I already had 5 or 6 really cool coins. Silver isn't for me, like you say it's not performed as well as one would hope the past few years.
Also I saw a lot of people commenting with issues on the RM proof coins on the Beasts in particular but on a lot of their other coins to be honest. Very disappointing when you are trying to buy a proof coin at such a premium, you shouldn't be expecting a defective coin
Brilliant strategy! Cheers🥃
👍🏼
I had all the 1oz Qbs, still got the 1/4oz set, swapped out my 1oz QBs for a huge sovereign hunt, My choice on the 1oz size ar the britannias.
Incidently this week I acquired a 1973 Isle of Man sovereign , looks OK, we have Perth, Sidney, Melbourne etc, whats your opinion on these off shore different designs?
I think swapping to sovs is what I would have done in your position too, enjoy the beasts for a while and then roll them into the next. I don't think the Isle of Man looks too bad and don't mind having one in the stack but wouldn't buy a lot of them unless they were very cheap. They're a nice colour too!
@@SovereignSaurus I wondered if you would comment on the yellow gold difference.
I have a 4 ring binder zip case with 2" × 2" coin slip slots, the rose gold looks fine on a page of their own, but mixing the colors up looks terrible.
Think the coronation bullion are all good especially the charles cypher gold coins as the mintage is so low for a bullion coin
Yeah it might do well, the Royal Arms coin was a 5k mintage bullion coin but doesn't seem super popular though so I don't think returns will be crazy but I might still pick some up
I like your theory on the lion 🤔 I will start at some point hahah
Minimal risk at least 🤞🏽😁
@@SovereignSaurus I would look at the quarters as couldn't afford an ounce at a time.
@@Afterasimplelife It's a nice way to collect the set!
What is your opinion on buying those coins like 1/4 Oz PP just for flipping them in few years?
Quarter Oz size is fairly popular despite premiums being quite high. Some people argue it's a better price point for many people though personally if it weren't for sovs I'd likely stick with 1 Oz size
SOV, have you ever known a fake sovereign meet the size and weight test, which is basically what most people use
The best I've seen were 21ct fakes. A dealer I visited had them ready to go to scrap. Pretty convincing unless you looked closely I can't remember the weights but I imagine beginner collectors wouldn't notice.
@@SovereignSaurus thanks
They look better when you've got more than one of them in the 1/4. lol.
I do that with the Perth Mint Lunar fractionals. But am only getting one 1/4 each for the Tudor. If I was over there it might be the other way around.
I might have one or two lions kicking about 🤣
