    Sorry to say but covariance is related with correlation and is important to understand the direction of correlation. Like what's the point of learning and memorizing numerical without knowing the backend and concept of the processor.

    For covariance
    Sometime we use n in denominator
    Sometimes we use n-1
    How to decide whether when we need to do so ?
    Like is it same as if sample is less than 30 then we use n-1 for Sx Sy and Covariance
    Is it so ?

    • @VectorsAcademy
      @VectorsAcademy  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yes. You can say that.... 'n' or 'n-1' doesn't make big difference when 'n' is large

    If 0.75 > r > 0.3, I cant understand this, 0.75 is greater than r which is greater than 0.3, it doesn't make sense to me. Please explain

    • @VectorsAcademy
      @VectorsAcademy  3 года назад +1

      r is smaller that 0.75..
      And r is greater than 0.3..
      Eg: (If r = 0.6, 0.50, 0.45)... All the values are smaller than 0.75 and greater than 0.3..
      0.75 > 0.6 > 0.3

      @@VectorsAcademy Oh thank you so much sir. I assume that it is the person who has explained has typed out this message. The video was awesome. Statistics which has to be a compulsory subject across curriculum is largely a neglected area of study in our country. Despite being taught statistics at the college level (M.Sc Zoology), my command in statistics is still at nascent stage and that was due to unmotivated lecturers, who will claim statistics as a boring discipline. Rather being passionate at what they are doing, they were disseminating false claims about it. Only after viewing videos like this, I began to understand that statistics is indeed an interesting discipline.
      Kudos to your teaching. I wish you a happy new year. Let all your endeavors become a successful one this year. May God bless you sir.
