I was in Germany with the US Army and visited the Braubach, Marksburg Castle on the Rhine. Don't see how anyone could live in one. Its dark and dank and not what I would call a house. Went down in the cellar and the dungeon with chains still anchored in the walls with the only fresh air coming from a steel grate coming from the ceiling about 30 ft from the floor. Couldn't wait to get out of there
Ive been to Heidlburg Castle.. The clime up the road to it, is so steep its more like climbing 500 steps 😅😅😅😅😅

you realize the people lived there since 1231 ad. Its now a Museum. What did you expect a dungeon to be like? pleasant? :D
