Hi Cee, I love all of your fabulous recommendations and was enticed by your description of maharjan gold and places an order immediately. But not sure if it's just my skin this smells soooo masculine on me with no sweetness at all 😭 it almost has a dried orange peel thing going on and reminds me of by the fire place where it's inky, smokey, and heavy. I didn't get any buttery creamy caramel, and no resemblance to nebras at all, so sad 😔. I tried spraying out 10+ sprays because sometimes the lattafa perfumes need to be aired out to smell like how they're suppose to but still didn't get any sweet caramel. I will let it sit and try again at a later time, really want to get the sweet caramel!
I hope it sits and gets better with time. Your explanation of it is so not what it smells like at all. The fragrance is all sugar..kinda like smelling sugar cane and caramel

I tested samples of Nebras Gold (want it! ) and Afaq (such a gorgeous bottle if it arrives in one piece), and both are already chocolate-y, with Afaq throwing in some berries. Maharjan Gold seems to be similar in vibe - even though it has some florals - also with the intimate projection. Makes me wonder...
Yes…Lattafa Pride seems to be more Western leaning, they seem to have avoided too many MiddleEastern spices and almost all have no Oud. They are gourmand, floral, citrusy and more wearable which is unlike the traditional Lattafa 💕 l hope the bottle gets to you intact fingers crossed 🤞🏽

She is so knowledgeable in her reviews, I'd swear she is a spokesperson for perfume companies. She explains the scents to the tee. She doesn't use terms that sound like a dream scene like other reviewers do, which irks me. You can tell she loves doing this. And for that, we ALL are more appreciative of our fraghead hobby.
Lately l m so much into lactonic scents. I find them comforting and relaxing especially at bed time. I think l like Maharajan's scent profile but that bottle is too imposing. With my huge perfume collection , l need a bottle to be as space-saving as possible and the less heavy the bottle the better for me for when I travel.
Hie Chipo. You’re right, the huge Lattafa bottles are annoying. This one is so big on my palm making it hard to spray. I wonder if it’s even economically logical for them as a company. It’s so environmentally wasteful. The bottles don’t look good at all on the shelf especially if you own a lot of fragrances. Happy new week ❤️

I boought this and what a beautiful bottle. Mine smells weird and I know it has to macerate. I seem to have to go through this with all my Middle Eastern fragrances. They are alcohol smelling and begin to mature in a month. I guess when they are popular, they send out new bottles. My Nebras is wonderful, so I am looking forward to this one.
Hey Cee, got the 20ml gift sample of this after getting the badee al oud sublime (yes it's GREAT btw 😍) and baaaiiibeeeeeee!! This is the most unique frag I have ever had the pleasure of smelling. Nothing like it in my collection. It is everything you described and more. The bottle is also unique though big and bulky but when my sample's done imma get it. It's lovely and the dry down is the very best part!
Okay, mine has been macerating for a long time. Maybe I got a bad batch. It still smells medicinal and weird. It is almost ready for the garbage. It smells like alcohol and there is nothing pretty about it. It is just a pungent, unpleasant fragrance in a pretty bottle. There is no ingredient that can be detected. Anyone else have this issue?
I got this fragrance today, the top notes is ok but when you get the second layer it’s beautiful you smell all the candy and sweet. But the lavender and pepper you need just to spray and go with the process

I got Maharjan Gold by Lattafa because of all the promising reviews I saw and read about it. But to my nose it smells nothing alike what you said. I just get pepper and more pepper. It starts with a very strong note of pepper, changes into a citricy pepper and finishes with a mild pepper. That' s it. No caramel, no powdery note. It's pepper from the beginning to the very end. To me it's neither sweet nor feminine at all. I was very disappointed after the first time I 've tried it, unfortunately it hasn't changed yet. I really can't recommend this perfume. But I am glad for everyone who enjoys the scent.
My friend hopefully you have tried it again after a long rest. I first got it and was puzzled as my sample size smelled just strange sadly I can’t describe the smell but it was masculine and unpleasant. Let it sit and one day it just smelled like sweet gentle and warm carmel. Purchased a full size and was sooo 😡…. not another BR540 with pepper😣. So back to macerating…… now it is a soft carmel slight floral with a very slight peppery warm cozy scent. I can’t wait to wear it in the dead of winter!

My experience started with the sample not impressed with it initially … masculine pepper with a hint of Cloud. Macerated fir a couple of months now nothing but a sweet buttery caramel… ❤️it. Finally purchased full bottle and I get nothing but Cloud/BR540😣🤔I will macerate and hope for the best as I don’t need another BR540

The bottle is so unaligned with the scent. It smells like a realistic creamy caramel toffee candy. I get a lot of warmth from the cashmeran. The bottle throws me off!

No it’s not in that fragrance family at all. It’s a sugary, buttery, creamy scent with no citrus or aquatic notes.
