    I knew she was straight. I think the problem is that a lot of people don't know the difference between sexuality and gender expression. I am pansexual but dress feminine most of the time and people usually think I am straight.

    As a bisexual woman who dresses very femininely this kind of bugs me. I don’t want to have to “look” a certain way to tell people I’m queer. If I say I’m bi I want people to believe me and I hate how there is such a stereotype of feminine women only “faking” their sexuality. I just can’t wait until we are past this secret dress code thing in our society. I want to be able to both wear a pretty feminine dress and be hit on by other women. Is that really so much to ask? 😭

    as a lesbian, i don’t think we can reclaim the f slur. it was a negative word targeted towards gay men, there were other words for lesbians, none of those should be used anymore as they’re harmful and damaging.
    it’s so weird how they based everything off stereotypes too.. i definitely would not have chosen either of the two people eliminated but oh well.

      Well, I know quite a few lesbians who prefer the word dyke, and that has been both used as a slur, as well as plenty of others who have worked hard at reclaiming the word. However, I do agree with you on the F slur...though if gay guys want to reclaim it...I'm for that, as well as those who would rather stay away from it.       I mean all stereotypes exist because there is at least *some* truth to them. The problem with stereotypes is treating them as expectations or measures of validity. This is just a silly game where they had to identify the odd one out in a short amount of time. Generalizations are how you get there. It's just kind of how the game works.

    I get that these types of videos kind of force the guessers to base their decisions off of stereotypes, but it still kind of bothers me slightly. Like choosing whether someone is gay based off of the type of coffee they drink, sport they play, and the pitch of their voice is kind of crazy to me lol. Fun video though!

    somehow the way the concept is played out makes it less interesting than Odd one out. The discussions were awkward and the duo dynamics on both sides didn’t really add to the concept, it would probably be less messy with one person on each side. Also eliminating one person only from the group seems a little useless ? Did anyone think the same thing ?

    I knew she was straight immediately. I just knew they were gonna type her as masc because her demeanor and less “done up” appearance but girl her energy just screams straight. She also came off a little uncomfortable and not quite as sassy and fun about the whole thing. Which I feel most gays have. Butch femme masc etc all kind of have that playful thing to them, an added confidence that comes with their diversity and adversity giving them a tough skin and feeling of “otherness” in society lol hard to describe, but miss girl just didn’t have that, Idk how they all missed it cuz she’s giving straight all the way

    this is so toxic for the community, it's not okay to just judge people based on queer stereotypes. Deciding someone can't be gay just because his voice is deeper and he doesn't have a lisp?? What?? The continued use of the f word was also really shocking. It was originally (and still is) used as a slur against gay men, so if anyone is reclaiming it, it should be gay men, not a lesbian. If I were the people being judged in this video, the 2 pairs would have made me so uncomfortable. Pretty gross behaviour tbh
