I put up Barn Owl boxes in the 90s in Sliabh Luachra, Co Kerry. I got jackdaws. Then the boxes fell apart after 10 years 😭. But I'm gonna try putting up another one this year. Well done Tipp.
We have had great success with Barn Owl nest boxes in the Sliabh Luachra in recent years as part of a project with IRD Duhallow, so definitely worth trying again, I can send you design plans for the nest boxes if helpful..
