Castle Glen wow spent a heap in there really good mix all very good bit hard trying the samples then driving back to Warwick but thoroughly enjoyed it its a nice area Stanthorpe very like Tassie around the area
Emptying the dump- place some rubber gloves with the dumper to assist in getting rid of the unmentionable 🤪👍. Thanks for the fun video once again - most enjoyable- stay safe 🍷🍷
Did someone mention cheese 🧀. A great selection there, and as for Suttons, the apple pie is amazing 🎉. Just waiting to see you both on e-bikes zipping around amazing places. Fantastic to catch up with all 4 of you again. See you again on your next lap. Safe travels. 👍
Been to all those places, you should have tried the wines/liquors they are divine. The Musk Stick liquor is my fav. Loved the cheese place and Apple place too. I hope you got to the truffle place , it was interesting. Loving your videos , happy and safe travels .
I think e-bikes are great. If you like to ride, I would recommend a “mid mount” with the motor at the pedals rather than a hub motor. You have way more control over how much assistance it gives you and so is more fun to ride. You can choose to have no assistance on the flat and just have it help you up the hills or let it do all the work. I converted 2 hard tail mountain bile with kits from a supplier in Melbourne. They both took longer than I expected but I’m no bike mechanic. The advantage of the DIY option is easier availability of parts if you break something. Also you can move it from one bike to the next. I did this when my partner decided she wanted a bike more suited to unpaved trails rather then the “street cruiser” I converted originally. Its cheaper too :-)
Great video. My hubby empties the loo the most (I help) but we do have a rule…whoever does #2 has to empty! Works well. If available we usually make an effort to use a toilet nearby! Real life traveling.
We stopped at Bowenville Reserve just before Easter. No burnt cars and had a good night but some long term resident's there. I agree with your reactions to the Castle. We were the same.
I'm 70 in December and empty the tolet cassette no problem 😊when dad whome was in his 90,s helped at times but even though it is gross it just body waste so I'd rather have a tot then not hey. I dump at nearly every dump point, allways fuel up diesel and water, best to be safe😅
I used to work with water and sewer for towns if the smell gets u , tie a rag with b,o sray on it around your face, my missus does it all the time but we use bag system for no2 and little bucket beside toilet and dispose next day it works for us 4:26
Love the episode guys and I know your pain grant but I don’t get the offer i (allan) mention are you going to empty the toilet and I get told nah that’s a outside item so that’s yours lol
Sorry you didn’t have a good vibe with Bowenville. It’s usually a great place. I think that was an accident that happened for that vehicle. Not thieves related. But the woodshed is a great place. We love the food and drink coma you end up in from exploring the Stanthorpe area.
The big majority of those people at Bowenville reserve are homeless and have no where to go other than living in tents or caravans. It might seem hard to believe but is quite sad to be in this position. And that is a creek at Jondaryan woolshed not a river. The river is a long way from there.
We mostly just use Apple Maps on my phone and connect it to the truck with Apple play. The truck inbuilt gps is American and doesn’t work here in Australia.
No no no never empty the toilet that’s my lovely hubbies job. I wouldn’t camp if I had to do it. Shame on you for letting your good lady do that 😊. I changed all the dirty nappies lol now it’s his turn
🏰…naf?
😂😂😂
Very funny, I was laughing too!
And we NEVER fight about the toilet. I just never empty it!😅😊
🤣🤣 that’s a good way to do it 🤣
Well done Grant. My wife has never emptied the toilet and probably never will.
😁👍🤦♂️
My wife would walk backwards to Bourke before she emptied the cassette. Oh well 😂😂😂
It’s not my favourite job, but it’s definitely not the worst job I’ve ever done.
Well done .. it's great when you can share all the jobs on the road😁👍💯
Castle Glen wow spent a heap in there really good mix all very good bit hard trying the samples then driving back to Warwick but thoroughly enjoyed it its a nice area Stanthorpe very like Tassie around the area
Yeah, its definitely hard to try samples driving the truck.
We are at Bowenville Reserve at the moment overlooking Oakey Creek. (Burnt out vehicle must have been removed)
We have enjoyed our stopover here.
Awesome, glad you had a nice experience

Great tip!
🍷🍷 - oh! Enjoy the nice weather as it is terribly cold in Rosebud (VIC)

Fantastic to catch up with all 4 of you again. See you again on your next lap. Safe travels. 👍
Looking forward to it😁👍
There are a lot of good apple farms around Stanthorpe.
The devils eski, an equal opportunity task😂😂
Couldn’t agree more 🤣👍
So glad I found you guys. So down to earth and I loved the video!
Wow thank you! Welcome aboard!😁👍
Wine and cheese 😋Bianca that looked like a great cheese haul! Flic
So good!😁👍
The woolshed has some interesting stuff there we will be back there in a couple of weeks great video once again lots of of laughs 🤣🤣
🤣🤣 glad you think we’re funny 🤣

Definitely have to go there next time, there were so many places to see.
Bloody great laugh, awesome vid guys 🤙
🤣👍 glad you enjoyed it !
not dissapointed just supprised and amaised
We've stopped at Castle Glen many times. It's good.
So glad you liked it

Awesome, I didn’t realise you can buy one to mount to your existing bike. I’ll have to look into that 😀
We have stayed at Bowenville reserve with our Kedron van. A few ferals around March last year.
Great video. My hubby empties the loo the most (I help) but we do have a rule…whoever does #2 has to empty! Works well. If available we usually make an effort to use a toilet nearby! Real life traveling.
Yeah we’re the same if there’s a toilet nearby we use that instead of the caravan toilet
We stopped at Bowenville Reserve just before Easter. No burnt cars and had a good night but some long term resident's there. I agree with your reactions to the Castle. We were the same.
I'm with you regarding the " castle". Would have been great if they specialised in a few products, but it looked more like a bottle shop. .
We definitely prefer the more boutique places
Just add someother essential oil to the hand sanitiser to make it smell better
Good idea! We’ll give it a crack!
That castle looks like the Macadamia castle.
I haven’t been to that one, where is that.
@@Livin_Like_Kings_ on the Pacific highway Ballina way, not the New England which you were on .😅

Always best to empty/ fill up when you can.
Should have tried the stuff at Castle Glen. Have some great fortified wines and liquors.

Cheers guys 😃
Next time do the bunya mountains ⛰️
Will definitely have to
Leave the caravan behind or go up from the eastern side

Yeah it was a real shame, might give it another try when we’re in the area again!😁👍
Great vid ... In our back yard... One Day...
Why didn't you show it ? We are new to this and would like to see how its done.... I'll see if someone else has it on utube 😅
Are you talking about the emptying of the toilet?
I'm sure you only use the toilet, 1 to 3, compared to Grant, 🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣 ain’t that the truth
WD40 for that bolt.... thanks for the stories!
Great tip 👍
Get a box of disposable gloves
I used to have a box, just haven’t remember to buy some more
Since I clean it (and everything else in the van) he empties it. End of story!
🥰

Great cheers!😁👍
Can I ask what mapping system in you truck
We mostly just use Apple Maps on my phone and connect it to the truck with Apple play. The truck inbuilt gps is American and doesn’t work here in Australia.
But if you’re talking about the maps we use in the video, they’re made in an app called TravellBoast.
My wife denies there is a cassette
Fair enough! Doesn’t the 1’s n 2’s just go to a different dimension when you hit the flush button?🤷♂️
No no no never empty the toilet that’s my lovely hubbies job. I wouldn’t camp if I had to do it. Shame on you for letting your good lady do that 😊. I changed all the dirty nappies lol now it’s his turn
Well that’s fair enough I reckon!🤣
But there’s no nappies to change so it’s a 50/50 split of the devil’s suitcase
Dont you believe in helmets 😮
