I thought that hearts played well and really made a good game of it but I do think Celtic shaded it in normal time, I thought we were the better team with more chances and possession but craig Gordon kept hearts in it eddy really couldve had a hatrick on another day. Fair play to hearts for not parking the bus and playing the game as it should be played. Best cup final for a long time. Look forward to having hearts back where they should be , in the top flight , commiserations and well played HH ☘

This is something that none of us will likely ever see again. Separate the recent on pitch woes from this incredible feat please. So proud of this club. This is likely the second biggest achievement in our history, indeed in Scottish footballing history. Really emotional today. Never forget. Have to give young Conor Hazard a lot of credit. Two saves in one shoot out. Even David Marshal took two shoot outs to save that many, and he became an instant legend (as he should have).
Even though we lost the final I'm really proud of every Hearts player. I felt as though the Celtic players were looking rather smug and thought it was going to be a walk in the park at 2-0 so it was really satisfying to see us put up a real fight in the second half and we really rocked them. Immense effort lads! You are a credit to the club. Mon the Jambos!

The were looking rather relaxed as if the game was won. And I thought Edouard was rather cocky with the way he took his penalty. He looked a lot more worried in the second half.

This will never be repeated. An end of an era to arguably our most illustrious time in our history. 188 domestic games to achieve this feat with an invincible treble and 68 domestic games unbeaten throughout the treble years (not counting 7-0 v Motherwell as it wasn’t in the quadruple treble era). In time, we can tell our grandkids how this is a feat never to ever be repeated. We shouldn’t have been in a shootout situation however, we were cruising. Duffy and Jullien almost cost us the game. Conceding from two set pieces, which is not good. Should be a warning for Ibrox. Yes it’s an incredible unprecedented triumph which we’ll never see again in our lives, but we can’t let it paper over the cracks.

A great final to watch today. Hearts should be proud of the fight they showed. As it went to penalties I honestly was tipping them, with Gordon in goals. But, Hazard must have learned well from Gordon in all honesty.

From a neutral point of view, was a great match to watch.
Celtic seemed to be desperate to gift this to Hearts, especially in the second half there was some cartoonishly bad defending and keeping. They were lucky
Wighton is never hearts standard and berra is way past it. Had that been any other 2 players we probably would be in possession of the Cup right now.
I suspect that Neil Lennon had told the Celtic board that he would resign if they don't do the quad-treble because when Hearts' 3rd goal went in he looked like a Celtic manager who was watching his last game in charge. He looked like he was trying to face up to the fact that it was over but amazingly they pulled it out of the bag. I honestly think that will relieve a lot of pressure from the team because I think that's what's causing them to blow hot & cold. The board are putting too much pressure on. The Rangers team that went for 10-in-a-row all said that the pressure got to them - it's such a monumentally difficult task to do the ten. There's no shame in not doing it - just eternal glory for those who do do it regardless of how many games or seasons they played in!

When Gordon saved the Christie penalty, I thought for a moment we’d do it but the next 2 Hearts penalties were poor. Fair play… Hearts fought back well to make a great game and Celtic were desperate to win to extend their trophy run.
