literally. i picked scissors because it’s the one i usually start with during rps, picked fun because we all were gonna die anyway so i prefered to die while playing on the switch, and will pick water because quaxly is just too cute. a lot of people already asked me if i was a big man stan because of this lmao
Context: So I was playing The Splatfest for S3 Late at night in my room (team gear, I pick logical choice). I picked clash as a meme choice and just played for shits and giggles. The game got incredibly mad and decided to throw an 100x at me. I was hyped, but then not even 30 seconds into the match, I DC. Sad part was that particular match was my only 100x (🤓)
So calli was more beloved but lost Splatoon 1 final fest, same applies to marina in 2. The least popular Idol wins final fest so 3's final fest will have Frye win.
Since they seem to be doing the same fests everywhere I kinda want a Pirate vs Ninja vs Barbarian. Yes I'm still malding over that Ninja deserved both of those wins.
0:54 was literally me when I ranked #4 during the Retro vs. Modern Splatfest. FF Retro was for a team I was part of called Flash Flood. And no, I joined Modern despite my username.
i started playing Splatoon 2 when it released and am now playing Splatoon 3 aswell. during that entire time the total amount of 10x battles is less than 5. and 100x battles? one. and that was during the global splatfest demo for Splatoon 3. 333x battles? none. (also, never played Splatoon because I never had a Wii U)
Yeah, I hate when people choose team based on idols. However, I think most people on team Gear actually chose it because it's the most logical choice, not because of Shiver (I was Team Gear) I also belive that in the most recent splatfest Team Fun player were the ones biased towards Big Man.
Shiver’s team got the most votes because it was the most logical and the bias is pretty clear since team gear got more than half the votes. Also, team grub and fun would rarely go against each other and only go against gear meaning that around 2 times more gear players were participating and earning clout at a given time. Sorry for the 🤓 rant
@@drewslol first of all, that’s not “rigged” that’s just an argument for the theme being bad Second, as someone who was on team gear, I assure you that half of the time I was fighting my own team. It being more popular was not THAT much of an advantage… just like, you know, every other splatfest before
@colfdra legend I never meant to imply that it was actually rigged per say, but just pointing out the advantage (prob what the original comment was referring to)
@@colfdralegend it was THAT much of an advantage, you instantly win one of the categories and have more people overall playing the game to earn more points. You also have to account for how most were casual players doing open battles so they automatically have more wins under theire belt in that field as well. Having a bigger team is just overall a big advantage, both fun and grub had only teams ranging from 20-21% which is significantly lower than shivers. Team fun won pro because of our skill level and having quite a few pro players on our team. Honestly was just poor choice for a splatfest because the logical awnser was gear which guaranteed a high fan base- just the honest truth man, having numbers does matter especially since it's 3 teams instead of 2.
