I own 4 , 1 kilo and more than a dozen 10 Oz coins mostly queen's beasts but a few elephants and kooks amongst my silver , they look amazing but I wouldnt advise getting them , they are difficult to store and as an investment they will be very difficult to sell

Was shopping for a Kilo coin last weekend, and came across the Germania 10 ounce polonia coin. Only 250 minted! Pretty stunning. As a collector, it roped me in very quick lol I very much want a Kilo coin for my next purchase. We'll see how my savings grows over this month first lol
I remember when I could buy kilo Kookaburra coins for 500 dollars. Those same coins are impossible to find any less than 900 dollars. The older years I have you can't find any less than 1,200 dollars. And that's if you can even find them. They apparently didn't make many kilo Kookaburra coins over the years.

If the silver value drops below face value (500 brittish pounds), will the kilo queen's beast coin be worth more in spending value then collectable value?
In The Netherlands (and Belgium) silver coins are VAT-free (margin rule applies, complicated, but let's just say VAT-free) but bars are seen as industrial material and are with VAT. But.... Coin bars arn't charged with VAT. So for me there are some coin bars which come with a lower premium then coins. So I buy these. I just buy as an investment for the future, I don't really care how things look, I just want the inflation back in the long term. At my local shop I get spot +4% for silver, no matter which form it comes.
If you want to inspire people about what genuine money really is, there surely can be no substitute than handling a silver coin vs. a bullion bar. Coins are more collectible but you pay a higher premium. I'm sickened the mints don't do dedicated cases for these kilo coins though, so since I wanted to come up with something to protect mine, I'll also be offering a limited number of duplicates for those lucky few who wish to keep their kilo coin capsules pristine too.

As if you have tons of silver the only people I know who buy them is other stackers or are people hoping long term that large companies or government ask to buy your precious metals. As you know selling silver isn't a easy job as everyone wants it for as close to spot as possible which makes flipping difficult unless your able to buy monster boxes etc.
There are countless options in between these two extremes. There are less ornate rounds, and there are bars that are smooth and polished without any fanfare. Personally, I don’t like proof stuff, so a bit more utilitarian would be right for me.
I am pretty mad at you. When you did your video on the kilo completer coin, I never got so obsessed about a coin in my entire life. I had to have it right away. At the time, the Royal Mint seemed to be out of them so I bought it on a Google ad and did not even shop around and think I ended up paying $100 or $200 more than I would have from the Royal Mint. After I ordered the coin, I never had so much terrible anxiety in my life about a mailed package getting to me because it took more than a week to get here and I thought it got lost in the mail and I would never receive it. When it finally came in the mail, it was such a tremendous relief. Then I opened it up and got more mad at you because the bullion coin had a milk spot on it and I did not want to return such a heavy coin in the mail with God knows the mailing cost so I kept it. Some places on the Internet say I can get rid of it using a white eraser. And finally after several days of having the coin, I got even more mad at you for not telling us that this kilo coin is not a coin but a bloody barbell. I wanted a coin to brag about, to take with me to show others and impress them. How can I do that with a barbell? Am I really going to walk around and carry that kilo completer coin in my pockets. Next time tell us that if we want a big coln, the 10 ounce coin is just fine thank you and easier to carry around in our pockets. Now I have no use for the coin other than having it as a center piece on my dining room table. And I am tired of hearing all my guests telling me what a fantastic coin it is and where can they get one to put on their dining room table. Please don't keep on putting up such addictive coin videos or you will put me in the poorhouse.
It's the 20% tax on silver that's the real problem here in Scotland , otherwise it's a long long term investment , 👍 and the premium,s are just a rip of 🥴

I only have 1 & 2 oz coins. If it’s 10 oz or a kilo, I prefer a bar. The kilo coin is cool though!

Kilo bars will have low premiums. Kilo coins can have very hefty premiums. So, if you can find a Kilo coin with a low premium...

A year ago, I purchased 1 oz Asahi bars and rounds. I prefer generics. I bought constitutional out of curiosity, not much.

Love the Queen’s Beast completer. Had to settle for some 2 oz coins instead of a Kilo. The bull and bear is very nice also.

In the US a Kilo is 32.15 ozs just as a reference. I have the Germania mint .9999 Kilo Bars.
