Also, do it in a well ventilated area like an open garage with shop fans to blow the fumes out, not inside your house You never know what kinds of phthalates or bipolyphenols are in those store bought baits. You also don't want to be cooking food in a microwave you use for heating plastics.

No it can cool completely and they will still bind
