Section Spotlight: Micah DeCloedt

Micah is a Class of 2025 lacrosse player at Oak Park High School. Micah spent his summer preparing for his final year of high school lacrosse by practicing in Canada with the Delta Islanders. He was introduced to the team by Vancouver Warriors player Tyrell Hammer Jackson after meeting at a lacrosse event in San Diego. Micah adjusted to playing box lacrosse, a more physical and rough version, and to being away from home. He also visited Maryland for the Youth 16 Combine event. Micah looks forward to his last season with his high school team, aiming to win the CIF championship, and hopes to continue playing lacrosse at the next level after graduation.
