5/16" over 30 feet is accuracy to 0.05 degrees. Seems pretty good to me for this price point. The best I've seen for lasers in the < $200 price range is 1/4" over 30 feet. When you start going way up in cost, you'll find some that are 1/8" over 30 feet.
I've got a list of them, but every time it's long enough for a video Milwaukee ends up sending out a press release for a few of them! I think I've got enough for a video soon though.
Great video, I'll be picking up the red one. Seems like a great value and for most of my projects 10' to 20' is all I need.
Picked this up today at Home Depot at 49$ from 79$. Great review!
That's a great deal! I recently used mine to hang all the doors in my basement finish project. It definitely makes the work way easier.
I just bought that green one i used it for imstalling my car lift. It was cheaper to buy all the tools then hire a guy.
Thanks for the demo and info, have a great day
I've tried double aa batteries on the gll50-20 and they don't work at all, only the rechargeable pack that comes with it does, is this a model issue?
Just realized these are the wrong ones but my question still stands
Bosch says the GLL50-20 "works with two AA batteries (included) or Bosch's 3.7V Lithium-Ion 1.0 Ah battery".
Help me out here. 5/16 of an inch is a pretty big deal. Am I wrong? What's the point of the level if it's out that much?

Will we see a Milwaukee patent video soon
