Art Surprise: Brad Pitt and Nick Cave debut as sculptors and present their art with T. Houseago

World-famous film star Brad Pitt and acclaimed indie musician Nick Cave surprised people by personally opening an art exhibition at the Sara Hildén Art Museum in Tampere, Finland 17.9.2022. It was the first time their art was on public display.
We-exhibition combine art works of three friends: Pitt, Cave and valued british-born artist Thomas Houseago. The idea of a joint exhibition came from Houseago, who received help from his friends in his personal crisis, when his abusive father passed away. Pitt made candles for the sculptor because he was afraid at night.
And having suffered from problems with his own creative work, Cave made a deal with Houseago, that he would write a song if Thomas makes him a drawing of a flower. One day Nick sent him the White Elephant poem, which became a song for Cave's album. Houseago started making sculptures again and also big paintings.
Sara Hildén Modern Art Museum had been aiming for a Houseago exhibition for 10 years, and finally it happened. The museum was first hesitant about Pitt and Cave, but pictures of their art work convinced them to take the duo along. The exhibition, including art by Pitt and Cave has received good critics.
Houseago is known for his large-scale sculptures, in materials such as plaster, bronze and wood. Cave has studied painting before his musical career and brings ceramic art to the exhibition. Pitt's works include a plaster panel using molds of the human body and house-shaped silicone sculptures, which were shot with guns of different calibers.
Pitt and Cave are accustomed performers, but they were told to appear somewhat nervous when taking in their new role as visual artists for the first time. According to Pitt's own words he has been interested in making art for many years, but started to make sculptures seriously while going through a divorce from actress Angelina Jolie.

I watched this video and I realise (of all 3 artists) about some fear of regret, forgivness, etc...but also this is really nice and that is plenty of transparency, color, joy and finally
