Exploring the Vintera II Offset Models | Vintera II | Fender
/ fender
the entire refreshed vintera line looks AMAZING. i think bringing back simple colors and rosewood/maple was the best choice.
Fender made very few Jaguars with Maple fretboards with black blocks and binding. Finding a vintage example is like finding a unicorn! This is the kind of reissue I like to see!!
Fender looks like it did right on these for sure. Can’t wait to see what @puisheen thinks of them!
The 1st Jazzmaster was sounding so good. That Crunch was dream like.
That orange Mustang with that crazy fretboard, OMG...
The part of the Vintera II line up that I am really interested in. The offsets. I’ll have one of each please.
The Jazzmaster sounds awesome
Impressed with the colors, specifically the Mustang's. They look bang on to the originals, matching headstocks would have sealed the deal though!
id have liked to see the option to choose personally since i myself am not a fan of the matching headstock look but i know a lot of other people like it
WoW ! You couldn't have nailed it better than these ! I want one of each !
Fender please make Vintera left-handed versions available!
Really wish you did the mustangs with matching head stocks but the whole line up looks amazing
There’s something about Fender offsets with dirt pedals…. It’s a sound like no other
Such an amazing "woo-ooh" sound in these chords! 5:19
Daddy’s going to need one of these, love the bright yet warm jangle.
Absolutely in love with the light blue jazzmaster 😍
Are the jazzmaster and jaguar set like they should? With at least 1⁰ inclination on the neck? Or is the action and tension gonna be a problem still?
Asking the actual real question everyone pretends isn’t a problem.
I don’t think fender has ever really adjusted the JM neck pocket to adjust for this issue. At least not that I’m aware of.
@@andyblakely7576American Pro, American Ultra, American Original and the Mexican Classic players had the neck pocket angled to remove the need for shims. Not sure of any other models.
doesn’t look like it judging by how low the pickups seem to be set 🤷♂️
I hope we get more of these three in the squire classic vibe series. I mis them :(
I want the blue Jazzmaster, the black Jaguar, and the blue Mustang.
absolutely fantastic playing…🎉….🔥
Finally the Kurt Cobain guitar.
I mean the Fender Vintera II 70s Competition Mustang (Burgundy colour).
If the headstock matched the body color it would be perfect, but still a beautiful piece of wood
looks and tones are fantastic!
I need that "Cobain" stang
Can we have something like that in left handed fender we’ve had only strats and teles for too long
That JAZZMASTER IS ALIVE!!!
i recently bought a vintera orange competition mustang, i love it
Really wanted a Jaguar with a rosewood board!
Fender Japan exists - otherwise we're all out of luck
Squier VM early run models (before Laurel) or Fender Japan are your options. Or you could find an old AV65 or AO60s model.
Gotta save something for the Vintera III line coming in 2027
The riff at 0:28 😤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wow looks awesome ❤❤
Now just make them $599.
squier has entered the chat
lol. But what chat? I’m a little older, and chats were something from the early days of the internet - so I have no idea what kind of joke this is. Please tell me you’re not using retro chat rooms, ha.
@@ScaleScarborough-jq8zxI believe it’s a reference to twitch which is a site where people play games or do anything in a live stream but these streams have chats where people talk and ask the streamer to do stuff
my goodness! I will buy this tonight if you tell me what pedals were used in the beginning paired with that jazzmaster
FENDER has unique sounds, the best....
Do you have to retune the jag everytime you use the trem bar?
Sounds good! Noticed the Terry Kath vibe. 😉
Sweet guitars , following in the footsteps of squire is a great idea. I like the Jaguar.
Who’s the guy with the long hair? he’s such a great guitar player
amazing to see competition burgundy again
I want Nitro and 9.5" radius
True
Make them in a LEFTY version !! PLEEEASE 🙏🏻
dang these are cool I want one of each
Make the mustang with a matching headstock
Fender why a maple neck jaguar? I've been waiting forever for you to just release a normal classic vintera sunburst jaguar with rosewood neck, and pearl block inlays binding
Facts
Fender Japan does one.
@@kerstinover4536 they don't ship to europe
I don’t get why Fender continues to make guitars that require removing the neck to adjust the truss rod. I would love a Jag with traditional electronics but I don’t want to waste my time removing the neck.
Why is the blue mustang called “burgundy”?
Historical accuracy. That was the name of that finish back then.
@@raultrujillo7750 that’s strange, any idea why it was called that back then? Did Burgundy used to be a different color?
When ‘competition burgundy’ was first released the color was blue with a burgundy purple burst over the top of the blue. But it was expensive to paint, so to save money, Fender dropped the burst and just kept the blue without changing the name.
Pure Rock’n’Roll 😎
Competition mustang in squire please?
BECK fans rejoice in the orange mustang

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Fender
very nice 👍
Instrumentos Lindos
Just order the vintage white Jag can't wait to get my hands on it!😎🎸🤘
❤
What I can't really understand is why I gotta pay more than 1000 euro to have a plastic nut. Why? How much is a real bone nut, or at least graphyte?
How do you apply to be the guys that gets to play brand new Fenders all day?
Wish they made them left handed
Yet again no left handed options……
For Christ's sake, no left handed models again?
@snicker576 yeah great idea, switch your dominant hand magically and use right handed instruments. Even if you converted them to be left handed, it's pretty uncomfortable
@@psychoticxombiesounds facetious but it is absolutely doable, and some lefties even come to think they had an advantage learning with their dominant hand being the fretting hand.
Plus you've got sportsmen like Rafa Nadal and Tua who are right handed but learned to play left-handed. This kind of thing is achievable. It's also just particularly beneficial with guitar options.
I guess you should learn to play right-handed like the majority of players...
Again no rosewood jaguars :'(
Hey Fender, how bout you make these available for us lefties!
Would it kill you guys to make lefty offsets that isn't the ass ugly Jagstang?
You have the cobain jaguar
@@confusedcat-sm9cy it's bulllshit. I want standard options.
@@Duncanlinc then buy a cobain jag and mod it back to standard specs
@confusedcat-sm9cy shouldn't have to do that. Plus the finish sucks and the neck isn't 7.25 like these are. So why should I have to pay significantly more for a jag?
@@Duncanlinc they'll probably add one left handed offset in a few months, just wait
The Vintera 2 line makes so much more sense than the original. These are actually trying to be vintage-y instead of like, weird mods and whatnot.
That Mustang… oof
Not sure what is exactly difference between 60s and 70s Jag, but don't know if anyone will do THAT head-to-head when mostly it's endorsement vids or whatever.
I know my JM is a bit louder than the Strats, which makes my amp unhappy a bit.
I hope the fret ends aren't as rough as the Squier.
Honestly the 70s Jag is my favorite in the entire line up
@@dorianford6227Probably mine, too, but I don't know if I'd spend extra on it when the 60s ones are going on closeout now, but the 60s Strat looks tempting here if I didn't already have some other type of Strat and was just looking for a guitar that isn't totally entry-level.
The main difference is the fretboard. That much is glaringly obvious.
doesn't seem hard to screw the same random same cumputer specked CC milled parts everyone on the planet copies ...how much different is it to be 'Master builder " at fender- to "Super Guy ex husband " assembling your Ikea ??.. it's not like the skills needed for a neck-through+ or a set neck carve top -
Available left handed as if it wasn’t for Kurt Cobain who was left handed no one would be interested in an offset? I’m guessing no… 🙄
bro hasn’t heard of johnny marr
bro only listens to nirvana that’s why@@fade2Matt
they don’t make left handed johnny marr signatures either
The 1975, Foals, Sonic Youth, 2 Door Cinema Club, Artic Monkeys literally every rock band you can think of uses offsets, when i think of Kurt i think of mustangs/strats personally
@@dannyharrisonn_ those guys who started a revolution/movement in music like Elvis, The Beatles, The Sex Pistols, Oasis, Nu Metal? Dream on if you think offsets wouldn’t be as big a seller if it weren’t for Kurt Cobain, Fender have made bank from it, they should show some respect to left handers & make EVERY model (including the Johnny Marr who if associate with a Rickenbacker not a Jag) in a left handed option, & not in just black or sunburnt lol 😂
1200 to 1400 $ for made in mexico... ok...
Don't buy it then 🤯
$1500 MiM’s
you guys get bored and designing something new. cool bro
Like a seven-string. 🤩
