      @@user-tt1ix7cy7y and I am pretty sure l liked the Wellington soloists much better than the Brass Band 13 Etoiles soloists playing this piece when they won at the Europeans in 2023.

      @@TheSproutariani tend to disagree. At a band level this is quite an awesome performance. But in terms of individual quality Treize etoiles Performance is incomparable and thats totally fine. There is not many that can compare with the likes of Mathilde Roh or lionel fumeaux

      @@fabianschulte4003 I know what you are saying, those soloists from Treize etoiles are some of the best in the world, and very few compare in standard to people like Matilde and Lionel, but on the day of the Europeans many of the soloists didn't have the best of days. Even more interesting is that the adjudicator didn't seem to pick up on all the blips and how the soloists didn't carry the line as well as they could have, but when you listen to the performance through headphones you can easily hear it. That doesn't mean that Wellington would have beaten Treize etoiles on the day, but it is just like l said above, the slow stuff was played better by Wellington.
