(review)“ultrasonic” MIST MAKER atomizer fogger

I was digging through an old junk box the other day and found one of these ultrasonic misters. It still works just fine, but while playing with it, noticed the external resistor must be submerged or it gets really hot. The deeper the water I found (a metre of plastic drain pipe) the less splashing I encountered, as the mist is captured in a stream of bubbles that rises to the surface. 😉👍

Can this be used as ultrasonic cleaner. Does piezoelectric plate vibrates.?

@Live Free, how long has your atomizer lasted? Is it still operational? I'm wondering because I've seen reviews for other styles of atomizers which fail after 3-10 days of use. Thank you, sir.

See if you can put it on a float so its not so deep under water

Half inch under the surface and these little buggers jet water straight up! 😉
I mounted mine at the bottom of a metre long piece of capped plastic drain pipe and it fogged my kitchen out in minutes.
