Hello Dany! Me again here haha 😊 could you please tell me the difference between a mixed drink and a cocktail? I can't figure it out ☹️ Thank you very much!
Hey Solange, hope you having a good day. To answer your question: mixed drink and cocktail have similar meanings. It's not a big deal if you use them interchangeably. But for the most part you want to say cocktail when talking about drinks such as, a martini, sex on the beach, and long island. And you want to use the phrase mixed drink when your talking about drinks such as a, rum and coke, vodka cranberry juice, and gin and tonic. Generally speaking if the drink has a specific name call it a cocktail but if the ingredients are in the name (like a tequila and orange juice) call it a mixed drink. Does that make sense?
