- 2019-2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat feature new performance grille with dual air inlets along with standard performance updates, including Launch Assist and Line Lock.
The 2019 Charger SRT Hellcat remains the quickest, fastest and most powerful sedan in the world with the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 that delivers 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine is mated to the quick-shifting TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted shift paddles.
New instrument panel badging, a Satin Black painted hood option, available Brass Monkey 20-inch forged wheels and an Alcantara interior package are also new to Charger SRT Hellcat for the 2019 model year.

Its beautifull. At least they give us console stiching to cover this ugly hard plastic interior a bit. People who compare these cars to german BMW or even Alfa Romeo doesnt understand for what these cars are made for. Germans car gives you tons of electronic system to support driver, so even child can drive "european beast". In Mercedes you cant even turn it off. Hellcat is focused all around feeling, about brutal, ridiculous feeling of danger and power you cant handle. Its brutal and thats why it is awesome. Its not made for corners its not made for F1 achivements. Its made as confortable daily driving car which can do "WRRRRRAAAAAW" whenever it want and put in a pocket Porsche which cost 300 000$. 707HP RWD only. You can have a lot of fun with that, burn thousands of tires, yet you can put inside entire family and comfortable drive at the jurney with them. This is why I think Americans love Charger.
You can also take the car on the drag strip during the weekends and have a blast.

Wow thanks FCA! for the extra wheel option and exposed intake. While the challenger gets an almost 100 hp boost and hood option not to mention all challengers get the wide body option except the v6

Ok nice, but what good is 707 hp if you can't get the POWER down to the road. Where in the Hell-cat is the all wheel drive. Tesla p100 awd, Mercedes e63 awd, now the BMW m5 has awd. Step up yor game Dodge.
Muscle should always be RWD. It has always been that tradition. I agree with you on the car not being able to put down the power. However, you can fix that through a set of drag radials for the rear. My friend has the nitto 555rs' 305 on his hellcat and the difference is day n night. The car just hooks.
Nismo Tuner Break tradition and create a all-weather super performer even with the added extra price of an all wheel drive system it will still be cheaper by a lot than the AMG and the M.

Your point is very valid and I understand that all wheel drive has its benefits. Especially with the AMG performance division making great and fast cars. But you have to understand that Americans don't necessarily see the point of all wheel drive on beasts like the ZL1 1LE Camaro, Mustang gt350, Challengers and Chargers, etc. Perhaps in their respective point of view, RWD is more fun and more controllable in a sense. It's just the way American cars are built around that tradition. Plus doing burnouts to warm up the tires is much easier compared to an AWD car trying to do that. To be honest if America were to make an AWD V8 monster in cars like the Camaro Mustang and Mopar vehicles, sales could potentially drop. It's just how the world is. Manufacturers like Mercedes and Audi do a great job on their AWD systems and people respect that. It's just how people want their cars to be is important.
Nismo Tuner Your points of view are well made, however my point is with regards to the Charger. Hell for that matter you can also throw-in the Cadillac cts-v. I just think these two powerful sedans should at least offer a all-wheel drive system as an option. American Automotive manufacturers like Ford and Chevy have cars like the Mustangs with 2.3 liter engines and Camaros with fuel efficient V6's I certainly wouldn't call either of those options muscle cars they just have the body. By the way their sales for those lower performance Mustangs and Camaros aren't that bad.The American Car consumer is open for all types of options. Even if means breaking away from tradition.
