More barriers in trades between provinces than with USA ? Sounds like lots of work to be done by federal on this issue.

No. 1 job for them, they need to be asked why this has been ignored....The Canadian Constitution says that Canada is an economic union. Under section 121 of the Constitution Act, 1867, goods from one province shall be freely admitted into any other.

Fix the border, it will cost a lot less than a tariff bravado contest.

@@jeniferdouglas Sure it's not broken but it could use some beefing up. Time to take some of that free money for fringe groups and put it into our border.

That could have been achieved as easily by negotiating like an adult, rather than Trump bullying and insulting, then dodging Trudeau's calls.
Well, given how much Trump has angered Canadians, the Buy Canadian / boycott American movement may well boost our economy while costing the American economy tens of billions in lost sales / tourism.

I do not understand - it mindboggles me EVERYTIME.
Small Business owners have to rely on business out of their own COUNTRY
In my Country its the same - it is terrible.
That is simply wrong - 100% wrong.

If you think Trudeau is bad, just imagine what Pierre Poilievre would do. What was he voting for under Harper? Please neck that out. He was always voting against interests of average Canadians? The interprovincial trade barriers need to be fixed, but that's a job for Provinces. They all have different regulations. It has nothing to do with federal government.

Pierre and Stephen were busy...doing things like...reducing sales tax, reducing income taxes, reducing business taxes, balancing the national budget, creating the tax-free savings account (TFSA), and creating the Universal Child Care Benefit.
