Listen to Ramin give music critiques... some in Farsi, some English JUST the Ramin clips from his appearance on Manoto1's "Googoosh Music Academy" (Episode 4) in 2010
Lol his Farsi has such a Canadian accent which sounds funny as an Australian Iranian. He's like me, I'm not a really fluent speaker. I love him so much and it's cool to something in common as it's unheard of to see Persians in broadway. He is amazing.
So cool to hear him speaking Farsi. I can't understand a single thing but i've always loved how it sounds. I was wondering whether he could still speak his mothertongue. But you native Farsi speakers there, say that he doesn't speak it like a native, does he? I thought one cannot forget the first language he was raised with. But even nicer of him to speak it if that was an effort to him. He's so lovely!
Aw so sweet! I've heard it in english before... really a fairytale came true! I eat my hands out if i think that he was living in my country for a few years after Iran and that by this time he could be starring at Arena di Verona or in my city's theatres, if only Italy had a proper law on asylum before the 90s... but then he would never become the Phantom and Valjean...
+Tosca7891 I'm a native Farsi speaker and yes he has a thick Canadian accent but it makes it even more cute. I think he struggles with Farsi, because he moved to Canada at a very young age.
@@samos4924 there is what is called a script, you know. He doesn't have to fully grasp the language. That's how Hollywood actors speak different languages in films even though they're not actually fluent. And yes, I will scream even if it's just the Daroga exist in any new adaptation.
@@ashleebenedict6523 all of iranians are not persian . There is many languages and accents in iran but most of population are persian . all of them are Iranians
I think English is his first language because he grew up in Canada. Also the fact that he can't seem to say everything in Farsi makes it clear that that is not his first language.
Not really unusual for the child of two Farsi speaking Iranian migrants to speak Farsi, is it? I mean, my parents spoke Farsi to each other at home, since it's their first language, so I speak Farsi fluently too. Having said that, Ramin is obviously struggling with it here.
@@samos4924 no need to be rude, maybe they just want to really know what is being said! I myself am very curious as well because I dont speak the language unfortunately :(
Stop the horses, first, I know he Percy., But he speaks Farsi?! What accent has, thank God. There is something not yet realized, by God which language are they talking there!? I found French and English, must be also Persian, right? Ramin What will you end? Happy day to stop surprising me!
My Anglo sister-in-law sounds like this when she says Persian words. I was thinking maybe his parents are Azeri speakers, considering his surname, and that maybe his was an Azeri speaking household rather than Farsi, but I've never heard anything about him being able to speak Azeri, so, I don't know.
@@samos4924 that's because probably his parents haven't talk to him in Persian much. He knows the language passively since his parents spoke with each other in the language but he's basically an English speaker.

He isn't Persian, he's Iranian!
The fact that Ramin knows a different language just adds to his sexiness
I must be stunning then because my Farsi is better than his, if I do say so myself.
@@samos4924 I mean... It's RAMIN KARIMLOO. The multilungual aspect is just a bonus.
But he's speaking only English!🤨
He's Iranian
Farsi is my native language... He's SO cute trying his best to speak Farsi... He's THE cutest Iranian man I have ever seen xxxx
I'd say Mostafa Zamani would give him a run for his money. :P
He’s such a love. I love how he was so gentle with everyone and not harsh.
did he just say he's never had singing lessons!?! Holy crap! I'm a singer and take weekly singing lessons and I'm no where near that good!
I'm cry he's so attractive and in this moment I just feel proud to be an Iranian oh god.

He is telling the story of how he became the Phantom and how he told his friends, at 12 years old, that he would be the youngest Phantom

Yeah makes sense. his mother tongue is farsi though Point One
This guy is amazing, I wish he could come to Malaysia to give drama workshop like this.
I love you Ramin. thank you for your amazing music.
Gotta love a man who can speak a different language.. I could listen to this all day..
That hair, bro.
he seems like such a sweetheart. he was speaking like farslish haha
Thank you for posting this, it is so cool. :) Love how cool it is that he speaks Farsi! :D
I could listen to him speak in Farsi all day :D
Must be enjoyable when you can't actually understand what he's saying, because, bless him, he's not speaking it that well.
Um, why?? 😂😂
@@samos4924exactly 😂
Make a Phantom prequel and cast him as Daroga. Then let him speak Farsi for 2 and half hours. I can pay Stall seat for that. Are you there ALW?
I think you overestimate his language skills.

He thinks he speaks Farsi 😂
Hold up! Is this the language he was born with (Iranian) or did he teach himself?
His parents are both Iranian, he can't talk much but he must have learned from them.
I knew his parents were Iranian. Thanks!!
+shay vogler Yes it's his native language. and lol i know I'm late but still.
