i dont mean to be off topic but does anyone know a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost my login password. I love any help you can give me.
My first ever DH I went straight into Popty Ping. What a fantastic flowing trail. Sixtapod gave that longer flow run and then AC DC was slightly to far for first ever DH.
I live local to Cannock chase and try to ride the reds there as often as i can (so so many hills) and imo they could do with more flow trails. The blues at BPW look perfect for a novice trying to progress there skills further on flow trails. Love the presentation style and format. Brilliant video thanks!
I've just started riding Cannock and I'm loving it so far. Its kicking my ass as I'm not as fit as I thought I was but it's mega fun! Bike Park Wales is definitely on the to-do list.
MrAlexTech Cannock is a tough loop..... if you can get around there then your on the right path! It’s a bit of a lung burner!! You won’t regret a trip to BPW! 👌
1:31 narrowly avoids collapsing into laughter when he suggests us mere mortals can progress "maybe to the blacks"! Great content Jamie, surprised you haven't got more subscribers. btw, Beast of Burden is great to do at least once on an e-bike
Graham Smith 😂 Thanks for your kind words👍🏼 I’m sure if you’re local then the beast would be worth a go but as it’s a bit of a treat to be riding there for me I think I’ll stick to the dh👍🏼. P.s The blacks might not be as far away as you might think 🤔
The black trails look intimidating but anyone with reasonable experience could get there. At race speed they'll bite back but at a nice steady flow they're fun. Just follow someone first time down.
Really good video mate thank you! I live not far frome bpw and want to take my daughter there for the day and see how she gets on! Looks fantastic for beginners! Thanks again 👍🤘
Cool vid and love me some BPW, i would suggest Sixtapod into Willy Waver as a warm up for anyone going the first time, it has crazy good flow and gives you a good taste of what the Blues are all about there.
I'm new to mountain biking (well E biking 🙂) Great review , it's good to see all the different trails , IV been to coed y Brenin and done the mbr and dragons back but haven't been to bike park Wales yet ,it looks awesome . The blue routs look fun .
Hey Jon, Welcome! thanks for the comment. Yeah the blues are awesome fun and perfect for someone new to the game! Fingers crossed it opens back up soon !
Mark Kirk spot on👍🏼 glad you liked it.... I’m hoping to get the reds out by the end of next week👍🏼..... also loads of info in the podcast if you’re into pods
Mark Kirk There’s a link in the description to stitcher (if you’re android) or if you use and iPhone just search for the Mtb Trail Hub Podcast in the podcast app👍🏼
Do the blue trails all link? And could I do it without having to get an uplift? I.e could you ride to the start then ride through all the blues back to the car park?
Luke Rees Yeah the blues lead to other blues so you won’t be left somewhere and forced into a red or black trail. There’s loads of blue trail combos you can string together. It’s all really well sign posted.
Lol that it turns out I am such a 'crazy' / 'xc'-ish rider that when i just did bikepark Wales I thought it felt like cheating not to do beast of burden at least once even though I'd paid for uplift day pass
Joseph Kisolo-Ssonko 😂...... old habits die hard! When you ride in the U.K often, pedalling up and around everywhere is all we know! A trip to the alps might change that 😁
The trails there are so worth it. Been to bike park twice and I’m already hitting the red trails because they push you so far and are so well constructed. Fav trails have to be sixtapod into willy waver. So worth it and both give you a variety of challenges
100% Yes, Perfect place for new riders looking to try some uplifted riding. You can progress so much quicker and get more riding in by using an uplift service. The new Green trail at Bike park wales will have you covered!
Yeah no problem, If you stick to the Blues( and the new green) that would be fine. If you hit the red trails then that might hurt your bike and your back!! haha
I wanna try my canyon torque up there 180 mm travel , hopefully I can hit some bigger jumps , last time I did enter the dragon and landed in the trees 🤣🤣🌲🌲🌲🌳🌳🌳🌲🌲🌳🌳🌲🤣🤣👌🏿👌🏿
Melted Welly has a short uphill section at the end to get you to Bluebell and some of the newer blues, you can avoid that by coming down Viscous Valley, although that is a red.

David Tranter Cheers David, you’ve hit the nail on the head there. Cannocks not a bad local to have but a bit of a long burner for sure.

I actually started to enjoy all the climbing on the monkey (and that's on a naturally aspirated bike 😁)
@@lozzamanuk "naturally aspirated" ha! Love that.
Great vid! Love the names of the trails, very Welsh.
Marty G 😂cheers Marty!
Love the blues at BPW. so much variety
Me too! Great fun
Really good videos full of great info 🤟🤟
Glad you enjoyed them, happy to help 👍
Really cool video, nice editing, I’m getting up there this week after years away from that style of riding, can’t wait!
Have a great ride! Appreciate the comment. All it takes is one ride and you will be hooked again......

shame she’s shy , looks a good rider 🤘

Col Rock100 She’s a great rider! We rode the DH World Cup Track in Les Gets a few weeks back and she had that covered!!!
Great vid looks good place soph is beautiful 👍 happy biking

@@MtbTrailHub not much lol but say how see it bud and great to see more girls riding.

You’re welcome 👍 you will be fine..... since this video was made they have also put in an even easier run called kermit
Good vid Mate. A good look at some of the trails.
Thanks Mark, Yeah i thought i'd dive in a bit deeper seeing as there is lots of POV stuff out there already..... Red Trails next....

Anthony Kahwati Thanjs Anthony 👍🏼. The POV is a go pro 4 blk with a gimbal and the 3rd person shots are go pro 7👍🏼
Great work again bud
Thanks mate! Lets find you a shock pump and get a trip sorted over there soon......

Nice video, thank you for sharing.
Can I ask, do you use a chest mounted Gimball to get your footage? It is smooth.
Forty Something Rider Thanks👍🏼...... yeah I use the GP4 with a gimbal for the riding footage and then Gp7 in my pocket for the 3rd person stuff......
Which one is the trail with the really nice tabletops?
Fh4 broccoli Id guess you mean popty ping?? What is the time stamp on the video?

Ckeakypeas yeah very confidence inspiring 👍🏼. I’m assuming the new section of willy waver is 👌 then....
there for couple of days, think can do all blues in a day?
Yeah I recon so, You'd have to be pretty on it to do them all. Ample riding here across blues and easier reds for a couple of days. Enjoy
@@MtbTrailHub yea did all the blues in a day. Got All but 5 red trails 👍
Beast of Burden is the climb for if you don't want to take the uplift. Great video really useful thanks
Jack Z Cheers Jack👍🏼. Sounds like you’re speaking from experience? How is the climb?
Can you ride the blues on a hard Tail?
Kevin Hall yeah I recon so, full suss preferred but most of the blues are pretty smooth so it shouldn’t be a problem 👍🏼
Kevin Hall I ride blues and reds on a hard tail they can be tricky but you should be okay, I haven’t had any major bike repairs so far
Is BPW ok for hard tails you guys think?
Hey James, yeah sure…. Hardtail is prime for some blue trails….. reds too if you don’t mind beating yourself up a bit😂
It is a shame I live on the opposite side of Britain, Bike Park Wales looks incredible!
It is an absolute beast of a Bike Park! It's still worth the drive and loads of really good riding near by too.
Would u recommend going to BPW for beginners or ?
100% Yes, Perfect place for new riders looking to try some uplifted riding. You can progress so much quicker and get more riding in by using an uplift service. The new Green trail at Bike park wales will have you covered!

Great vid, Popty Ping is Welsh slang for a microwave.
hanz2502 Great name for a trail 😂. Cheers
Is that fanny like a melted welly ? That's my take on my old merthyr stomping ground
Would a hardtail survive most of these trails? xD
Alan Rogula Yeah I think you’d be fine on the blues..... might be a bit of a rough ride on some of the reds though👍
I wanna try my canyon torque up there 180 mm travel , hopefully I can hit some bigger jumps , last time I did enter the dragon and landed in the trees 🤣🤣🌲🌲🌲🌳🌳🌳🌲🌲🌳🌳🌲🤣🤣👌🏿👌🏿
Paul Cartwright having the extra travel defo helps you get away with the odd case or 2 😁! Have a blast Paul👌
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🤟🏾🤟🏾
blues are nasty in bpw, you got optional big gaps that you could do :D
POVMTB Nasty is a strong word 😆 ..... Good for new riders or confidence building !! Some sweeteners out there for sure🤔
Popty ping is what us welsh call a microwave 😊
love it!
Did she say to much UP HILL !
At the beginning???? 🤔
Best not be up hill 😥
😂😂. If you’re sessioning the blues, the trails end at different parts of the park..... some of them with about a 2 minute push to the lift!!
Melted Welly has a short uphill section at the end to get you to Bluebell and some of the newer blues, you can avoid that by coming down Viscous Valley, although that is a red.
Im welsh and popty ping actually means microwave :))
No fk one explain what bike better to buy
Mukhtar Mukhamedov ??? Need more details to help you with that one...... check pinkbike.....
