  • Musicians are special, and everyone has an own taste, won preferences, and own needs. So it is absolutely normal, that already very well working instruments get complete conversions in my custom shop, to adapt these to owners specifications wanted.
So also here the instrument was not a bad one at all, but the owner, Jan Kaiser Stürmer (.... Vanessa Mai, www.kaiser-music.net ) wanted it to get identical specs as we already did on some of his other owned guitars.
For professional musicians work instruments with similar or identical specs are highly recommended. If you kill a string, and have to change the guitar, a great backup guitar(s) with same specs on the electrical and hardware side is always the best way to do it!
Here I changed the bridge from diecast to brass saddles, and replaced the diecast STP to an alu one. Completely new electrics with a special adapted Jan Kaiser Stürmer USW (ultimate split wiring) and a set of our Häussel 1959 humbuckers, standard bridge version and the custom neck version here with alnico 3.
Also added an Earvana saddle for better guitar intonation. Been plenty of work, but makes it a great rocking and also twanging Les Paul now! Yeehaw!

I've got the same guitar but before they changed the horn. Absolutely one of the best guitars I've ever owned. I threw Bare Knuckle's in it and it's an absolute Gibson killer, and that's from owning both Gibson Standard's and Traditional's

Hi, do you happen to know if it was just the horn that FGN changed then or other specs, too? Some owners boast of the first series (with the round horn) as period of the superior quality or specs. What year is yours? thanks so much!

Sehr lecker, also alles, du spielst großartig, und entlockts der Gritarre ganz fabelhafte Töne und die Gitarre lässt sie sich nur allzu willig entlocken, und so vielseitig.
    Weiter so.
Wenn mal passt würde ich dir meine Gitarre auch gern in die Hände geben.
