'Liverpool, Liverpool' - the most dreary and depressing chant in football. Amusing that Anfield was out sung by 3000 Jambos (also from a Hibs fan btw).
Hardly a surprise is it? Pre-season Europa League qualifier? Before the match it was basically going to be a pre-season friendly as far as Liverpool fans were concerned. It was a MUCH bigger games for Hearts fans then for Liverpool, so of course they went into with more heart (excuse the pun!). Actually I was in the stadium and Hearts goal woke the ground up a bit - it was much better second half. Saying that the Hearts fans were great, and were a good laugh before and after the game in the pubs around Anfield as well. There was plenty in the home stands as well but there was no aggro between fans (one or two did get booted out by stewards though!)
Nah mate especially at fester rd broke a seat lst derby celebrating always pure limbs in lower tier before lockdown wee souvenir of a fkn brilliant night 🇱🇻🇬🇧🇱🇻👍👍
I was there that night. We were unlucky to go out but the funny thing is, the guy who scored for Hearts - Davie Templeton - signed for Rangers very soon after. So he went from playing in front of The Kop to playing in front of a part-time cop playing for someone like Elgin or Peterhead...
i hate it when my favourite team concedes(not a liverpool fan), but seeing opposite fans jumping like mad gives me little bit of pleasure anyway. fucking brilliant
That, sir, is a terrible attitude to have to football, and is why I would much rather support a Scottish club than an English one. OK, I'm Scottish, so I'll admit to being a bit biased, but you should be up for EVERY game as a football fan and if you're not, you're not a real fan. There are too many people like that in football crowds nowadays - only there to see the "big team". Well, as far as I'm concerned, you're not real fans if you don't support your team right.
All this "not realy fans" bollocks. You are absolutely kidding yourself if you think Tynecastle is as rowdy for a visiting Dunfermline team as they are for Rangers or Celtic, or indeed Liverpool. Football in Britain has always run on emotion and the passion of the moment. We don´t have these shitty European style ultras droning the same shite for 90 minutes every game and thank fuck for that. What makes the special games special is precisely because they are not your average weekly event. If the ground was rocking every game, why would it make beating Real Madrid or someone any more special then beating some inbreds from some shithole town the road? It wouldn´t. You can try and pretend otherwise but you´re deluding yourself. Simple fact is this was a much bigger game for Hearts then it was for Liverpool. And that is really all there is to it.
The Premiership is full of plastic football fans and Asian tourists and the games have the atmosphere of a funeral. The Championship is full of half empty stadiums as people wait to get back to the boring Premiership and League 1 and League 2 are laughable. English football fans could be the worst on the planet, creating no noise, no atmosphere and no passion. At least in Scotland we don't pretend to be something we're not. Some teams have fantastic, passionate away followings.
SweetCheeks McGee Supporters are more passionate the lower down the football pyramid in you go in England - hardly laughable. Football without supporters is nothing, well certainly for my club.
You only sing when your losing, typical English.... Out sang by 2,500 Hearts fans............ Passion for your game ??? LOL Ok you went through but if that is one of Engurlands big clubs then you lot are still taking yourselves far to seriously. Brendan oot the door by Christmas (fact)
