I believe the Look See wants people to stop associating objects with their tragedies. For the women it was a ring, a number card and picture while the man has a ribbon. Each one can't let go of these objects as it is associated with loved ones despite having better memories. Making an object represent the past weighs you down, which is why when you let go of it the weight is lifted. The Look See is a sort of twisted angel trying to force them to stop seeing these objects as loved ones. In certain myths, angels are often ugly and brutal not the soft human ones we know. Much like the Birch, the Look See must be summoned by something breaking. Only instead of a stick doll, it's people's hearts.

but weren't they all looking into the past? They were all regreting something, or forgeting about something that meant a lot to someone else. I think his head backwards has much more significance due to this plausible cause.

(and there is a reason why they find the notes) from the moment the victim read the note an forward the look-see will come for him. the victim must get rid of something precious for them, like mementos of their beloved ones, to prevent the look-see to get "a piece" of them, but getting rid of the mementos don't save them it will merely build the victims more time to live. when the time a victim bought with a memento is up the look-see will come again and the victim must get rid of another mementos otherwise the look-see to compensate will get "a piece" eventually when the target of the look-see finish all the valuable mementos to trade off, the look-see would automatically take "a piece" aka body part (for example: a victim that gave the wedding ring will lose the hand instead, a victim that just has memories of their beloveds left may lose a piece of their cranium instead). probably the look-see don't care to kill his victim, he simple take a piece, if that kill the victim is just collateral for him. the juicy part is this one: a victim is not limited to trade something of their. they can indirectly buy more lifespan by leaving notes of the look-see around to let other victims to directly fall for the look-see scheme. the more a victim has strong delusion to let go the more worthy the "piece" will be for the look-see. the more lifespan the person that left the note will indirectly gain. therefore the look-see is a big piramid scheme with demon involved which the ones at the top gain more lifespan at the expense of those down of the pyramid and this explain why the look-see wear a formal businessman attire.
I think the reason the watch has an eye is because the look-see doesn't. Like you said. It kind of symbolizes that his human assistant will now be his eyes in the world. They will help him around.
What happened to the Mom Cop ? The "crazy man" ( who to me looks like the janitor of the school) saved her and then she seemed to got away not getting harmed at all! ( if she was innocent, why did the janitor had to safe her in the first place?)
Getschakter I believe she lived, since she needed to let go of her son (represented by the number card). Since those cards are taken up, she was able to let go easily. As a cop she was able to not only accept his death but she can find answers more easily than the rest. Plus someone is bound to get suspicious about all these deaths/mutilations and who better than a (probably) pissed mother with a badge that also saw the monster herself, but needs more proof of it's existence or be sent to an insane asylum. Just my thoughts since we never saw her body.

One of my guesses is, that the Look See is some sort of Symbol for Suicide. Losing a child as example: That would be a reason - but most can get help befor the sorrow is to hard for them to carry on - in the case of the man who lost his child it was to much - some sort of "i can not do this birthdays anymore" That the Look See Actor and the Husband is the same Actor is maybe the clue - both woman sucided (or tried to suicide) because of the Man. No, if you watch the episodes (not in the supercut), at the beginning of the first episode, it shows Daniel without his eyes. But from behind. This, to me, seems like the most likely reason that she ran into the washroom. I mean, if you saw someone you cared for without their eyes, wouldn’t you be in a shock, or in search for somewhere to process what you’d just seen?

I imagine the first chronological episode takes quite a while after the mass funeral. It makes more sense in terms of time given to grieve or give up something and it also provides enough time for Marlene and Daniel to get to know each other and get ‘friendly’, which in turn would give Jenny a greater reason to leave her marriage. Or it is only a few days and the look-see’s just a fucking asshole.
I felt bad for the mother from the beginning I mean her son presumably died only a few days ago! How can the Look-See expect a mother be completely over the death of her deceased son after only a few days???? Is the look-see looking to spare spiritually healthy people or sociopaths???
The Look-see wants people to fail. It forces people into a rigged game to watch them struggle before it kills them. It then takes a memento from the victim which i believe he does as a way to mock them. He chooses an assistant to write notes and slowly tortue them mentally till they no longer can take it.
Did you notice that when the look-see handed Jenny the watch, it was a left hand? Like the left hand he took from her. Did he ask her to be his assistant using her own hand? Does this mean that what she does is by her own hand and therefore is not controlled by the look-see but may even become it at some point?
I believe the “thing to be released” is hate. The mother has every right to be mourning her son. When she is looking at the number it isn’t anguish on her face. Marleen is scowling at the picture of Jenny. Letting go of her delusions doesn’t make sense because she has succeeded in seducing Daniel. Jenny of course Hates Daniel. The father hates himself and is having a pity party. Daniel is shown dead in the opening image of episode 1. Jenny is freighted in episode 1 because she saw the mystery man with the scars leaving the woman’s bathroom.
Perhaps the Look-See has some parallel with the Japanese Yokai Tenome. Tenome lacks eyes on its face and instead contains them on the palms of it's hand, while it is also Bald. the Look-See's palms are covered by gloves, but it's iconic pose (As Seen in the Thumbnail) with its palms facing backward may indicate reference to "Eyes on the past." Eye symbolism could also be in the pendulum, as most often times you must hold the pendulum in your hand to "see" time. These spirits also manifest as vengeful blind men killed, vengeance being a grudge of some sort, something that hasn't been let go or "released." If it was Jenny's husband as you might suspect summoned it, then he, with his eyes wandering, blind to his marriage, may have wanted vengeance of some sort. As for pieces being taken, the only evidence I find is the Tenome feast on the bones of it's victim and so far, Look-See has been shown to take body parts with bone, but has yet to be seen removing any organs from it's victim specifically.

If the look see assistant pastes the notes as a warning , then I guess the watch (which moves backwards) acts as a freeze timer for the assistant to pause, slip in the warning note and resume time again.
You reviewed them in in-story chronological order, but that's not how they were released. I think the order they were released holds clues to the meaning. Just a thought.

Getschakter I believe she lived, since she needed to let go of her son (represented by the number card). Since those cards are taken up, she was able to let go easily. As a cop she was able to not only accept his death but she can find answers more easily than the rest. Plus someone is bound to get suspicious about all these deaths/mutilations and who better than a (probably) pissed mother with a badge that also saw the monster herself, but needs more proof of it's existence or be sent to an insane asylum. Just my thoughts since we never saw her body.

This is also quite a hard one I think. If your child dies before you, especially at a young age...that may kill you internally already...I dunno if it is even possible to "let go" in such a situation... aside from that great video! No, if you watch the episodes (not in the supercut), at the beginning of the first episode, it shows Daniel without his eyes. But from behind. This, to me, seems like the most likely reason that she ran into the washroom. I imagine the first chronological episode takes quite a while after the mass funeral. It makes more sense in terms of time given to grieve or give up something and it also provides enough time for Marlene and Daniel to get to know each other and get ‘friendly’, which in turn would give Jenny a greater reason to leave her marriage.

I believe the “thing to be released” is hate. The mother has every right to be mourning her son. When she is looking at the number it isn’t anguish on her face. Marleen is scowling at the picture of Jenny. Letting go of her delusions doesn’t make sense because she has succeeded in seducing Daniel. Jenny of course Hates Daniel. The father hates himself and is having a pity party.
Daniel is shown dead in the opening image of episode 1.
Jenny is freighted in episode 1 because she saw the mystery man with the scars leaving the woman’s bathroom.

Tenome lacks eyes on its face and instead contains them on the palms of it's hand, while it is also Bald. the Look-See's palms are covered by gloves, but it's iconic pose (As Seen in the Thumbnail) with its palms facing backward may indicate reference to "Eyes on the past." Eye symbolism could also be in the pendulum, as most often times you must hold the pendulum in your hand to "see" time. These spirits also manifest as vengeful blind men killed, vengeance being a grudge of some sort, something that hasn't been let go or "released."
If it was Jenny's husband as you might suspect summoned it, then he, with his eyes wandering, blind to his marriage, may have wanted vengeance of some sort.
As for pieces being taken, the only evidence I find is the Tenome feast on the bones of it's victim and so far, Look-See has been shown to take body parts with bone, but has yet to be seen removing any organs from it's victim specifically.
