Blimey it's John Leslie. The only other video I have with him in it also stars Abi Titmus and a friend of theirs.

I saw him driving the "celebrity car" in a Ford Credit Fiesta Championship race at Donington in about 1995 - he spun it several times!

@1:12 - The 1996 F1 World Championship has wrapped up in Oct. 13, at Japan, with Damon Hill & Williams emerged victorious.
    RIP Frank Williams.

Ah, I remember watching this on the Friday night; just before setting off for Kershope - were it was snow/ice and absolutely freezing......

    Points of Interests:
    - 1996 Rally GB was the final Rally GB to feature Kielder Forest stages. By 1997 onwards, the RAC Rally runs mainly around the forests of Wales.
    - The only time that Rally GB is registered mainly for the WRC 2L A7 F2 Championship points, and not the main A8 championship.
Serving as the final WRC 2L A7 F2 round.
Hence, no presence of main WRC contenders & factory works WRC teams of A8 Class. Only Toyota & Ford entered the rally.

Those Kit cars were so trick! Gave all of us “wannabes” a glimmer of hope and they were rocket ships in the right hands👍. Awesome!
And of course the factory works Celicas😍😍😍😍😍
And my god, how many different cars were there competing in the various classes at that time???? Honda, Nissan, Renault, proton, subaru, VW, Ford, and on and on....

Wait. Did Tony say that the kit cars had a homologation rule to produce road cars?
