Ok, real question at this point: Necord wasn’t involved in Drift’s original soundtrack? Because that would explain a lot about it and its “weird” choices…
Yeah, I see. It’s just that compared to what we used to listen to in the Sword, Abyss or Camelot theme (just to name a few recent ones, as I don’t expect the original composers to still be around), Drift isn’t on the same level, in my opinion. It doesn’t help that they often remade in 1 minute tracks that lasted 1 minutes and a half, resulting in remakes that miss parts of the original tracks and are overall more repetitive, but in general the impression isn’t very consistent, maybe the composers they chose too are often inexperienced, compared to the ones who composed for the later themes of the original KartRider. Sadly, I don’t expect myself to be on Discord these weeks, as it had become a very time consuming platform.
