This comments section has more hate comments than any of my other videos. I’m deleting them all. If you’re transphobic, go talk about that somewhere else. I’m just going to delete your comment. You can say shit to me, I don’t care, but I draw the line whenever these comments are directed at the people who are watching this for help.
For anyone who’s transphobic, let that shit go and chill tf out. Spread love, man.

I’d like to add from my own experience that there’s no trans council who will smite you if you say you’re trans but are actually not trans enough.

One thought on detransition: I actually tried to, because I started HRT on a dosage that was too fast for my body and I was getting freaked out signals from my body telling me to stop. Not even a month later as I looked in the mirror it felt like I was looking at myself pre-transition, like I came face-to-face with my pre-transition self and it horrified me so badly that I would never ever try to detransition again, and I regret the time I made myself be without my hormones, I feel like I've set back what little progress I was making even further.
My message to someone questioning if they're trans is something like this: try to imagine yourself years ahead, try to imagine if you could live a fulfilling life as your birth gender, or as having transitioned, also consider to note down any immediate feelings that come to you when thinking of both, as well as what you think transition means to you, what your goals/expectations as well as concerns are and what your motivations are for it, or maybe against it.

I’m almost 7 (holy sht) years into transition and wow I wish I had a video like this when I was in my questioning period. The short answer I usually give is that if you’re wondering it and seriously thinking about it, you probably are. That’s not a cis thing to do. But you’re going so in depth about things I didn’t even consider like the whole identify v comfort thing. I’m autistic, although I didn’t know it at the time, and it was a huge reason it took me a while to transition, because transitioning is HARD. it’s change. you have to relearn all the rules. you have to come out to people. do a bunch of documentation. go to doctors. change your wardrobe. figure out your style. pick a name. your social group completely reorganizes. the way people perceive you changes. you have this unavoidable window where likely people WILL be able to tell you’re trans and it sucks and it’s dangerous!
now being trans is very low effort for me. I just have to refill a script. I have my routines. I have my set life. People are much more chill meeting me and much more accepting since they meet me post transition and there’s no conflict between the before and after. With everything updated I can be as out or stealth as I feel. The dust has settled on who’s there for me and who isn’t.
But the only way to get to this nice comfortable stage is to go through this massively uncomfortable period of change.

As someone who is nonbinary, I didn't want to "become a woman", I just wanted boobs. Not all trans people can figure it out just by asking "do I want to be x gender?" My dysphoria was the same whichever gender I tried to picture myself as, so I went through most of my life thinking I must be cis. There are more options than just cis and binary trans. And only you can discover which is right for you!

I suspect I might be nonbinary, but instead I want to get rid of my boobs (being afab). I hate my curves and want a flat androgynous looking body. I have a history of anorexia Nervosa and I remember I liked how sexless and androgynous my body looked in an emaciated state. I knew what I was doing to myself wasn't healthy, but that's one of the things that fueled the ED. I remember I would get this happy little feeling inside when someone couldn't guess my gender upon first looking at me. I certainly don't want to be a man, but I don't feel comfortable being a woman either. I don't really want to transition because I don't think there's any level of hormonal therapy that will give me that sexless body that I want and visualize. What I do want is to try to get my breasts removed. I remember as a teenager wanting so badly to chop them off. They felt like a nuisance, like they got in the way and didn't belong on my body. I hate taking a shower or getting naked for any reason because it's a reminder that my womanly body still exists.

You are so amazing, man! I just love your mind, because your opinions are just...I agree with your explanations. You're worth listening to. Thank you for being you, unique and authentic. It's very refreshing.

This was an interesting take. I agree with the different ways of considering those questions, I think about it like that often. It's also funny how, (and I forget if you mentioned this in other videos, ) but for me and most other systems I've met, most of our alters seem generally okay with transitioning to a different gender. I wonder if it's because those ones have had however long to have felt validated or seen in that gender or maybe it's a combination of that and at least in my case I suspect even the male alters are relatively indifferent to the idea of being male.

i can't tell you , like find the words to express how grateful i am that you are here. here , just here. I can tell you that i have always been mistaken for a dude, and if i'd had option i would have transitioned . i've had a frustrating unfulfilled life. - oh, and still look like a dude without the benefits of being male. Be careful of your hormone jumps okay . . . it's usually harder going the other way but you don't want to shock your system and get sick, like hospital sick. I want you to be well and happy. Ya, Dandilion is great and has potassium too - cranberry juice as well.

I am trans masc who is also intersex, do you think those two things may overlap some? Intersex is more than a man with boobs or a woman with a dick, there is over 37 physical types as well as some mental and horrmonal forms as well and it intrigues me how much both have in common (and can easily go undetected for your whole life) just a thought idk its 4 am so i will probably come back to this dazed and confused anyways

You know your trans by going through the proper channels when you suspect it. See a Phycologist (relevent for most western nations exept usa,no national health care). Thats the only way if you think you are.

    • @magesystem

With all respect to the mental health field, I don’t think that is the only way. I’ve definitely made my case in self-diagnosis before. I definitely disagree.
