- The night of Feb. 23, 2023, a heavy-duty tow truck towing a box truck crashed into an earlier crash scene on Interstate 80 in Allamuchy Township, Warren County. Multiple New Jersey State Police vehicles, an ambulance and a firetruck were damaged. State police released this video, shot from the dash cam of one of its vehicles that was struck, plus body-worn camera video. Troopers were outside of the vehicles struck and were unhurt, but an EMT inside the ambulance reported a minor injury. State police were continuing to investigate the incident nearly a month later.
Great video to remind us all of how fast things can go bad. Please slow down when you see emergency lights on the roadway!
