HTVRont makes a permanent vinyl on a clear PET backing that is my favorite! So look for that one instead of the paper backed one

First I love you all and frequently rely on your videos. My question (or curiosity) why didn’t you include siser vinyl especially since you used their transfer tape? Could you do a follow up and include it? Perhaps put it up again store brands like Michael’s or Hobby Lobby?
Would love to see a video wash test for the different vinyls on shirts!! I also had NO idea where to find the cutting pressures!! THANK YOU!

Thank you for this! I’d also appreciate knowing: was wash test was 24 hours after applying, the type of soap & if repeated washing makes a difference.
I’ve used: Cricut premium, Oracle 651 - both do well for cutting & weeding depending on my design. Haven’t done any dishwasher testing - just hand wash for any cups I’ve applied to. Tried Dollar tree patterned vinyl paper 2 weeks ago. I had the same cut issues with the Dollar tree but was able to adjust to try my design again. I applied it to a Dollar Tree wood-framed sign with a white base (sort of like dry erase board). It applied well & of course won’t be washed.
I loved this video. Thanks for doing this. I use Oracle 651 mostly since i doncar decals. But never put in the dishwasher. I dontell my clients to wait at least 24 hours if i give them a cup if less than 24 hours.

The last 2 rolls of 651 I've gotten has been crap . I have to reverse weed it .
Thank you for this video! It was great to see the comparisons of all the different vinyls. I tried glitter vinyl from Dollar Tree and it was terrible. It kept lifting up while cutting and would not stick to the transfer tape. I definitely will not be buying that again.

Sue Wolfe- Dollar Tree vinyl needs to be cut on washi tape setting.
I'm no pro but I assumed it just needed a different setting.
@kameya87 Yes, you're correct. It's known that the DT vinyl is much thinner than most other vinyls, making it necessary to adjust the depth of the cut of the machine. It could be that they didn't have this information prior to testing it.

Does it stay adhered pretty well? I like the idea of thinner vinyl for certain projects.
@Jieunehyi idk bc I just started with cricut, and it won't come off my cricut transfer tape. I then found DT transfer tape and messed that up bc it's so thin and bunched up on transfer. I will try again when I get time. I just wanted something cheap to practice with. Not having a good experience.
QUESTION Did you wait 24 hours or any specific time after application to do the wash test? Just curious. Thanks for the great video on these different types of permanent vinyl. 😊
Out of curiosity, why do some brands put that clear sheet on it?
I cut dollar tree vinyl on ‘paper’ minus pressure . It doesn’t cut well if a lot of details
