Not just the engine but everything about it like what the body is made of? who made the body? is it a full custom chassis or built on a pre existing chassis? What trans is in it? How is the drive train set up? Will it do mad burnouts or will the driveshaft explode? These are really important questions that need to be answered lol
@@ghostofzyklon1872 the body is made of glass fiber, I don't remember what company was in charge of the build, but the person that was in charge of overseeing the build was none other than Chip Foose
The transmission is a 6 speed fully automatic, and this car is a show car, so, if you tried to do a burnout in this you'd probably blow up one of the engines if not both

I am 22 and have a hot wheel collection of 1,500+ un opened hot wheels from the 1989-1999 collection all the way to 2008. Needless to say I grew up these things. So I absolutely loved this.

I remember when I was a kid watching the Deora II built on a TV show called "Rides". They ised a huge cnc machine to cut foam and the laid fiberglass on the foam to make the body panels, then cutting up a Cadillac for the drivetrain

The Bone Shaker sounded like it was running off a chopper engine and the Twin Mill sounded like it was being destroyed by its own power. The Deora II was the only one that sounded good. Would have loved to see the Hauler and Rip Rod drive too

The Deora II was my favorite when I was a kid, I bought hundreds of Hotwheels and could never find my favorite one.

All of these are super impressive, but I will always have a special spot in my heart for the Deora II. That was one of the first Hot Wheels cars I got as a kid, and was one of my favorites of all time. Also, I can't imagine how much time it took to make the bodywork on that thing, with all the curved paneling and windows.
Every one talks about the twin mill but when do we get other cars like cars from acelaracers
we don't, the ony one you get is the Deora 2, they have only built these based on their icon status, and the Twin Mill was built because it is *THE* icon of the Hot Wheels brand, i hear the next car we are getting is a build of HW50

It's actually a good resemblance to the diecast toy. The shame ia they never made the correct paint colour on any of the Boneshaker models. The purple/blue is lovely but neither the chase or regular are anywhere near & didn't have white wheels

Been a mechanic for over 35 years. I know what a performance engine sounds like. There's a difference between a cammy motor with boost that's hunting for idle and one just plain poorly tuned/sorted and running like shit. Bone Shaker is overfueled and misfiring like hell, even off-idle. And the top end sounds like it's not even getting oil. The Twin Mill is huffing and popping continuously, the last thing you want from a boosted engine is misfire. Wondered if it was gonna make it onto the transporter without holing a piston.
I'm pretty sure it's because they are not really meant to be driven around, they are mostly for show, the only HW cars with some level of performance are the Rip rod, both Loop Coupes, Baja Truck, and I think to some extent Bad to the Blade, and, in the near(?) future HW50
@@TokyoDrift456 I would think so, and they may have been properly set up when built but once in the hands of whoever does the transport for the promotions they probably don't get any love, and those short trips from trailer to parking spot and back and never warming up are no good as far as getting oil circulated and fouled plugs cleared of fuel, etc. They need to be driven. The Deora sounded like a mild mostly stock fuel injected N/A motor (sounded GM to me, like a LS1 maybe), so it probably doesn't have that problem. But engines with carbs and blowers need to be fully warmed up then flogged appropriately or they get weird fast...
I heavily dislike the high noise level but it sure is interesting seeing real builds of hot wheels cars. I agree this needs to be a event with hot wheels themed everything around it, like a theme park where you go to look at the cars and then they do a Short cruise by on the hot wheels iconic orange track

The Deora II actually sounded very healthy. The other two were running a bit rough, but you gotta keep in mind that they’re traveling from out of state with limited time and tools. IMO they were all BA regardless.
