The workers should be able to do a better job in field 3 if you update the map. There's a toolbox hidden underground, and the worker sees it as an obstacle.
By planting 10x10m apart, that tree field can always be used for an emergency grass field for hay or even silage for the cows, by mowing in between the trees. I always keep WAY too much cow food, but I'm paranoid (from Seasons19) about letting them run out of food.
Daggerwin have you seen the new old stream map i feel like it would be a good map for vintage survival.

Modders need to make an Ethenol plant that we can take huge amounts of corn to! And then you haul it out in a tank like milk!
Morning Daggerwin, funny thing to say as I know the previous version of Survival Roleplay is over, but Calmsden Farm for some reason, especially today with the snow, is always the way I envisaged Peter Woods often mentioned "Big Farm". It looks really beautiful, the details are pretty extraordinary. Loving this series too.
Calmsden Farm is definitely Peter’s Big Farm.
I sold the horse barn, then the horse pasture. Traded in my drill in and bought the amazone drill with twice the width and 10,000l of fertilizer capacity. Turned up the 6230R to 6250R to pull it. Later, I bought an 8r and use the 6250r on an Amazone 16 row planter. (the 24 row kinze couldn't make into the gates and around corners.) Now, I only need to do 1 more fertilizer application.
Coldbrough was a totally amazing map, I must have spent hundreds of hours on it between 15 and 17, now that is a map I would love on 22
Big is not always beautiful if the fields cannot be handled by the helpers. With the sprayer (and most other equipment) a minimum 2 headlands are required which with that wide sprayer is about 40% of the field. Hence the large areas missed.
Afther watching half of Haut-Bayleron, all survival videos, this is the first time i have heard Daggerwin sigh in distress (over an inept worker) at 23:26. Thats actually nice to hear, I do not have the decorum nor the composure to be a lets play youtuber.
Use the wooded area next to field 23. It's actually a grass field surrounded by trees and you own it already.

You could put a placeable water point in the sheep field. It only costs £140 to fill your little trailer tank. Save carting back and forth to find water. Love your daily updates Dag’s. Thanks from all of us
The whole point of him carting it back and forth is to not have to pay for something that he can get for free.
Use courseplay mate, its VERY stable and VERY good - amazing development speed - IMO, its already better than it was in 19, even though re-written from scratch. It won't miss spots like the AI workers do

I really hope you look at the secret garden by 23. I think you will want to get rid of 36 and put your trees there.
As many other has mentioned, use the space at field 23 for the forest instead of buying field 36 since you’re a bit short of cash.

You know Daggerwin, it is quite acceptable to spend a little time playing in the snow. I've never met a farmer who didn't take some time to screw around. Yes. they work hard, they're some of the hardest working folks of any trade. But they also know that you gotta take time to play too. Maybe not a WHOLE episode of screwing around, but I'd not have said anything if you'd have taken 5 to 10 min burning up some donuts in that grass field on the quad.
But otherwise, another great video. Looking forward to the next as always.

As far as days/month. the other critical factor is time scale. Combining both, gives you the amount of time you have per month. If you want, you could change to 2 days per month, and change time scale to x10. Or 3 days per month at x15 - both of these give you the same amount of time per month, more days per month, but less time per day. I recommend to atleast go to 2 days per month, as you have a MUCH better way of tracking your time, so you don't take on too much or too little, based on your equipment and land. Plus, more days per month stretches out the weather, and rain/snow won't hurt as much - 1 day per month, rain can easily knock out more than half a month's worth of daylight hours.
Listen to your shoes in the snow. Very realistic.
Does anyone else wish there was more detail on machines when raining? Like splashes on windscreen and water on outside like in forza or flight simulator? Would add so much more depth. Even puddles forming in the fields and roads , getting stuck ect ect 👍

I like that you can actually hear the snow crunching underfoot! sounds very realistic! I know you don't play with sound on Daggerwin, but you should check it out when you get a chance to.
Daggerwin you did say that you wanted to plant your own forest on field 36 after making silage bales so instead of you using the in-game tree saplings you should use the mod 120 tree saplings by Mactrucker921 and it's on the official giants mod hub

You should service all of your vehicles
If you plant the trees a bit bigger than the front mower width you should be able to get a lot more trees in and mow / bale at the same time a similar amount of grass. Wrapping would be tricky of course.
I hope some modder makes contracts for winter like snow removal and such
Why don't you just install courseplay? With that, you can set the worker to do the whole field on it's own without missing bits

You should try course play makes the workers do the fields so much better with the added bonus if them doing headlands as well

Great video @Daggerwin get the GPS mod from Modhub & do contrast they pay very well on this map.
We run our pull type sprayers anywhere from 15-18 and self propelled we run 18-22! I’d say 12 is actually on the low side!
I don't know if anyone agrees but my recommendations are to make each week a new month for all the series. So, if you do 3 episodes a week, the months would be 3 days long. Then if people are more interested in a certain month range they can calculate how long it should be, and it will constrict you a bit differently. It will also allow feedback to be implemented mid month even, rather than needing to wait until next year for some season restricted things
you should try get a deutz , havent seen you use one in a while, ovboisly when you have some substantiol money
I always windrow my lines of grass or straw together to make bigger lines. So much easier when baling
You could install courseplay for the workers... I'd give it like 98 percent accuracy if not 100 for a majority of the time

I wouldn't recommend doing pigs on Calmsden unless you place one of the in game pig pens down in that field. As it is, pigs don't produce anything in Calmsden - no slurry and no manure. You'd basically be raising pigs to sell for meat and not getting any of the benefit in the meantime.
I deleted the pig structures in that field and placed down a standard pig pen so that I can get the slurry and manure for either biogas or fertilization.
You should make public server on Farm Simulator 22 so people can play with you
Don't know that, you have seen my comment. And a little bit updated comment. You should also use the GPS mod. You can do field works more straight. And the corseplay mod, it will make feild workes smart and controllable. You should also use the Autodrive mod, it will make, driving cars and tractors so easy. And you can hire a AIworker for the Vines and the Olives. And there is a unload combine feature in it. You should see the tutorial of it. And you should also use the Front Lifter mod, if you use it, you can do some insane things .

Spraying is between 10and 12 km per hours on the high spray tractors you can go 20km per hour
Dagger it might be a good practice to close the gate to sheep field.

There is not much point keeping any of the grass bales imo.
Grass is easy to get in the future when the sheep need more.

A can't get snow to stay on ground ever just snow flake AV put time on 1x and still no snow when snows 😭
Longer months increase the chance of the snow settling. With 1 day months it only happense every now and then.
If you update your Calmsden mod then you will get bigger animal trough capacities
You can reset the tool/machine and it will to the main farm

Anybody having the glitch where when you go near animal pens in first person it plays a very loud sound of that animal. Usually happens with cows. I had it happen for the first time to me today and it is super loud and very strange.

I play at 28 days per month and I take my time doing stuff but I have seasons paused so I can plant and harvest when ever I want but I am playing on a 16x map with multifruit
