They're swim across, then start swinging the second their feet hit the ground if a deino dared swim behind them or even in front of them to attack. There's no reason the land sub-apex should not fear the current water apex if it steps off the land and into the water.

its ok if the o2 wasnt draining so fast, and stam could regenerate 50% faster in water, OR in water while sitting at the bottom of water... maybe double or triple the O2 level

I grew 7 100% dienosucas on officials in about two weeks I been playing. With "NO" cannibalism, and keep 2 100% on two servers I like. The two dilos on the island was hilarious lol.

Bro how are deino players like you get this much food well, I don’t. The only reason why I got to adult a lot of times because I’m proud of the biggest cannibals out in north east plains and sometimes out of north east plains in to the river that lead me to swamp, but the reason why I don’t go to swamp because I’m not dealing with stago but now I can by grabbing them when they swim
A lot of determination to not die and a practiced refusal to go to the hot spots. Over time you learn where those who avoid the hot spots go, their migration routes, where they hang out in the swamp, etc. But also, this video is only 20 minutes of probably 15 hours of playing deino. Cannibalism is definitely your friend as a gator in order to supplement your diet between grabs on land dinos.
when I play deino, I always have a duo. when food gets low enough, we start starving, I take one for the team lmao. can't count how many times he's eaten me because of starvation on evrima.

When full grown and stealing food from carnivores, its best to just ignore thwm and keep eating. That way you have stam to get back to water if angry stegos show up to body camp. Even full grown carnos cant hurt you enough to be am issue while you are eating
Yeah, I wasn't too worried on this server. Body camping gives a social score decrease and interrupting carnivore v carnivore fights as a herbivore isn't allowed (and also decreases your social score). On officials I'd absolutely be more careful though

I dunno, deino has about an hour hunger bar. It's still rough to keep it filled because they require so much food, but once full, you've got time before you're desperate again
@@xaniowiesner7353 it takes some doing. I recommend spawning swamp, scavenging anything you can, then hiding in a bush in one of the shallow water areas in the middle somewhere. Only moving to get water(preferably by simply pressing E) or when you have to get more food. Once you get bigger, it does get harder. At that point cannibalizing younger deinos and grabbing literally anything you see does help. There's been times where food was just too scarce and I had to log off and try again later once a migration had passed through.

If the stego is swimming, absolutely. I recommend taking them as far from land as possible or putting them in a place they can't easily escape from. You may not have enough stamina to fully drown them otherwise.
I like it simply because it gives full grown super cocky stegos a reason to fear the water. But only if they swim. Basically keeps them in their element or at least gives them pause when they have to cross deep water
thats fair. imo it just removed the gap between a normal deino player and a good deino player. it was one of the few things that good deinos could actually do to separate themselves from the rest, that is, keeping a swimming stego in water while killing them.
Depends how you look at it. They have a lot of health, a lot of damage, but 0 mobility and 0 stealth. You can get away from a stego on land basically as anything. A deino however. Has a lot of dmg, even more health, minimal land mobility (only minimal over none due to its alt bites being an instant 180 flip) and incredible health. Deinos also have one of the easiest growth times if you are even slightly practiced in it. (And even if you arent, but just practiced in the game). They can also escape to water to become a threat to everything rather than just most things if a fight on land isnt going their way
Deino v deino is truly peak isle combat 😂 It's honestly way more fun if both deinos try to fight in the water because you have to be much more precise in your movements and bites(because you can actually dodge and what not). Unfortunately most prefer to go on land where they can just stand there and bite

Defeatpete is great, very good consistent deino skill. But I'm definitely proud of how I got along in this growth cycle
