Doesn't matter how many times I see Pikes Peak content, I'll always think of the Escudo.
God that takes balls…I know the AP1’s classic rear suspension geometry “feature” isn’t an issue with this car for so many reasons, but still. Wow. 🤩
Yea it’s a feature that telephone poles love….ask my old AP1. Rip
@@kill6969oh damm sorry to hear what happened to your S2000
The "feature" you're referring to is mostly related to a lack of driving talent. It's probably too edgy for the street but you definitely want rotation in a race car.
I really want to drive one, everyone says they’re hard to drive on the limit. I want to see what they mean
@@blkcyborg92 they are not that hard... I have a 2002 AP1 and it's fine, you just have to react quickly and not do anything stupid. When the back gives out the worst thing you could do is slam the throttle shut or hit the brakes. This applies to any RWD car really, it's just that an S2K is tuned more aggressively so things happen quicker. It's how most of them ended up backwards in the ditch back in the day.
I installed a few Voltex kits on Mitsu Evo’s at a bodyshop i used to work at. Along with Some Junction Produce stuff on Lexus’. Very pricy but fit and finish was really great out of the box with functionality on the Voltex wide body or time attack kits.
I think its super awesome to see evasive motorsports coming to the forefront of the car culture lately. Saw them 10-15 years ago at the eibach meets.
PP always has the biggest variety of insane cars competing and this is up there with them. Love that crazy bodykit, fully functional but still amazing aesthetically, was pretty shocked when he said they have sold like 6 of those kits already at $30K a pop but imagine that on a street legal S2K lol, even on bags it would be so hard to get around town with that. Thanks again Larry for featuring these amazing builds.
Omg Their S2000 type R is the best s2000 build HANDS DOWN
For a second there i thought the bird noise at 00:26 was the turbo on lift off!!! 😂
Evasive is such a savage name for a motorsports company!🎉❤i😂
Wild machinery proper driver 👌
This might be one of the best sounding s2k Iv heard! 🤘That turbo flutter sounds amazing , and the in car sounds mad 👌🔥
Love the sound! Purpose built build, thanks Larry!
Thanks Larry, I’ve been wanting to hear more about S2k’s! Even better it happens to be a Pikes Peak S2k
Shout to Evasive! Those guys are great! Love their website
got to see this during car week and it’s insane. hopefully mine can grow up to be like this one.
This crazy car in the hands of Dai will be a weapon on the mountain! Nicely done! 😎🤟
That's a nice ML30C battery!
Beautiful livery.
Sick Pike's car. Thank you.
Please take it to Tsukuba circuit Evasive! ❤
Omg i am so glad to see this
i love these types of cars
Sick car.
That car is amazing. Love this Pikes Peak peak at the cars. idk if you touched on the rear end/diff setup, didnt catch it.. but was curious
Most likely a Ford 8.8
DO A VIDEO ON THAT TIME ATTACK BRONCO BACK THERE!!
So sick
Those pikas sure had an opinion about that S2000 tearing up their mountain. 🤣
How are open and unlimited two different classes?
Happy turbo sounds
0:27 - 0:34 ?
S2k is awesome.
Machine
Turbo flutter sound 0:27 - 0:34
lmao
@@jim1013yyf 🤣
Great looking bodykit. 30K is steep though.
They had a Hot Wheels model that came out in 2013.
Quick spooling because of the high compression? That's not how compression works...
30K for a body kit LMAO!!
30k for a aerodynamic kit is CRAZY
Is it for a wind tunnel tested, dry carbon, full aero kit?
It's actually quite cheap for a full kit that basically replaces or modifys every panel
Make no mistake this isn't a normal S2000 wow
