I don't know how Jill makes her PIE CRUST but that crust on those Pumpkin Pies are like a work of art - BEAUTIFULL. Mine usually BURN UP and I have to put foil on them. Even her Apple Pies have a BEAUTIFULL Crust, love the Color. Sadly I will have to eat mine with the Burnt Crust you guys are too far away. Love the quietness when you guys were cutting that cabbage in the Fields. Hope all you guys have a Great Thanksgiving and Frank get to warm up a bit and relax.

She then went on to say that her mother used to make fried cabbage in bacon drippings for dinner with butter bread. She had six kids and during the depression, that was a nice good supper. She didn't have enough bacon for everyone to have 3 or 4 pieces so she always used it in a dish, so everyone got some. I asked her "What kind of birthday cake do you want?". She said "Pumpkin pie with whipped cream, I am not fond of cake anymore". So pumpkin pie it is. WOW regular white potatoes were on sale for $.99 a lb or $10 for a 10lb bag. Every time I put them in my cart to be delivered they were unavailable. You and the Veggie Boys are too far for me to drive from Ohio or I'd come load up on potatoes, baked goods and a hoagie. Has anyone ever had a butter and onion sandwich? My grandmother made me one when I was about 10 yrs old and I am retired and still eat them. Slice thin a sweet vidalia onion. Butter up a bun or bread and put 1 or 2 slices of onion on them and you have a great sandwich. Especially during a hot summer. This video was very interesting, good job!!
