Meridian, MS Auto Burglary 1/11/23

On 1/11/2023, a Maroon Dodge Charger was observed parked in an area where traffic normally flows.
Upon turning around and approaching vehicle, a black male subject was observed emerging from between two vehicles and jumping into the car.
I tried to make contact but the driver sped away.
A second Security officer and I almost boxed the car in, but they tried to ram my vehicle and sped out of the parking lot.
We did not pursue off our contracted property per our company policy.
