  • The mods and upgrades I have done to the 1990 YJ since my last video.
    More is planned.
Also, wondering if I should record my actual work being done and add yet another video to the plethora of existing videos on these mods and mechanical changes.
The work is kinda boring, but I will record it if you guys want to see me fight with 30 year old rusted bolts.

I thought hard about the suggestions of asking for monetary assistance through the crowdfunding sites.
It was sorta tempting…. but NO Thanks.
I will fund all my work myself. I don’t really need to beg or have “project welfare”.
Other people and organizations need it more than me.
If anyone out there has a few dollars they want to donate to REALLY help others and do good, please consider making a contribution to:

I was thinking of going on 33's on my 87 yj but was not sure if they would rub but I think all I need is 2" boby lift...looks good....thanks

saw youre original 33s on stock jeep video. quick question, ive done a shackle lift already and im probably going to get the stock springs re-arked. do you recommend going with 33s if one plan on cutting the fenders? or should i go 31s?

I cannot advise what is best for you.
The 33’s came on it when I bought it, I only went with a deeper rim.
They rubbed BAD on fender flares and the front leaf springs until I changed things.
I added 2” shackle lift, and 2” body lift and wheel spacers.
But I also do no rock climbing and never drive it over 55 MPH.
My YJ is a bigger and cheaper alternative to a 4wheeler or side by side for me. Just a transport to the fishin hole or deer stand.... and the 3 mile trip to work infrequently.
