I look forward to joining you on your journey. I already follow some sailors, travelers, amazing people of a wide range of ages and stages of life. It has been a very enlightening time. I am eager to see the world through your eyes.
You are gorgeous, and I wish I was able to have your time. But I wouldn't trade for what I have now. Keep going. More videos...looking forward to watching.
Actually am interested to do the same, doing island hoping in the the pacific. Do you have any recommendation where to find boats searching for crew without experience?
I saved up for the trip and also worked a bit remotely from my laptop. Max was working remotely too and we all contributed towards the costs of the boat. We would stop off and provision when we were on land and fill up our water tanks and then set sail :)
@@lydiapaleschiThank you for replying. I was fascinated to learn which parts received the most wear and tear crossing the Atlantic! I’d love to experience what you are doing one day, especially if I can find my own boat. But the way you are doing this is the best. Good luck x 😊
What an incredibly exciting adventure!! Can I ask how you found a boat to crew on… and how you made sure you weren’t stuck with weird people? 😂 thanks a bunch!
Hello! Congrats on your journey. I wanted to ask: when you talk about the West Indies, what are the places that we see in the video -even approximately? Thanks
I've crossed the atlantic 3 times now. But I'm just a normal guy and I didn't do it wearing a bikini so I guess nobody would be interested in my video of it 😂
@lydiapaleschi I think they'd like his spiteful attitude. It's getting really old watching all these incredibly young individuals, making this lifestyle look so cheap, joyful, and easy. Those of us who have really crossed oceans know the challenges and don't candy coat it.
Im 59 and still wondering; (specially in the ancient times) how could they sail to everythrre, despite the wind blows from amother direction (or from across)???
Im 59 and still wondering; (specially in the ancient times) how could they sail and go to everywhere, despite the wind blows from another direction (or from across)???
The triangular sails function in the same manner as an airplane wing. They’re not flat, there is a belly in the sail that creates low and high pressure zones to create(though not vertical like a plane, horizontally). The wind isn’t necessarily “caught” by the sail to power the boat upwind, the wind slices past and you keep a little of that power for yourself. The boat will want to lean over however the weight of the keel will make it want to sit upright. These forces combine and is best described by squeezing an ice cube with two fingers. Forces are going inward from both sides until the pressure is so great that the ice shoots forward. Just like the boat. No sailboat can travel directly into the wind, rather 30-45* off of the wind. You just have to “tack” and zig zag your way upwind. Also, we have engines. I’m the type of sailor who will just turn over the little yanmar instead of a 1.5kn dreadfully slow sail upwind.
Sounds great, would be fun, but when I hear these stories I'd love to do I say who's paying the bills....workkng/earning a wage when all this is happening
Max found the boat and restored it. Then we split all of the costs. We live on anchor which is free, we cook on board and don't drink alcohol to keep costs down, we generate our own power and we work remotely too so we each have money coming in
When dirty old men are not dirty old men….but helpful in living out your dreams. Don’t be offended now everyone! Where to next on the trip of a lifetime?
These stories are missing the most important point all the time! How did you buy the boat and where did you fin the sponsor for the trip? And why do you have judaic surnames all the time??
It's not my boat. I could never afford that. I got a free passage on the boat in exchange for doing night watches and chores. And my surname is Italian
Captain Jem posted a job ad: wanted; sailing assistants, must be female, under 25 and athletic. Sailing experience not required 😅

Armpit hair no objection…. 🤢🤢🤢
Sounds dodgy as 😢😢 Capt Jem.. Girls.under 25 😅😅😅😅
60+ year old guy sailing with young girls only, this sounds extremely weird
That seems like a freeing experience. Sounds amazing!

50 bux says the vid should be about Captn Jim...not the holiday makers.
Sounds great something I've always fancied doing
Lucky lady ❤ respect 🫡
I'm envious
Well done on actually capturing the height of waves on the video. Normally, the camera doesn’t show how big waves can be.
Yes, it's really hard to show how big the waves are!
Capt. Jim def hit dat
All dat
100% he did
You are gorgeous, and I wish I was able to have your time. But I wouldn't trade for what I have now. Keep going. More videos...looking forward to watching.

Have you satisfied your captain ??
Never done a hands turn to earn money, mummy and daddy must be so pleased subsidising 👋👋👋
Actually am interested to do the same, doing island hoping in the the pacific. Do you have any recommendation where to find boats searching for crew without experience?
Just curious, but I am wondering how do you feed/care for yourself financially while out sailing across the world?
I saved up for the trip and also worked a bit remotely from my laptop. Max was working remotely too and we all contributed towards the costs of the boat. We would stop off and provision when we were on land and fill up our water tanks and then set sail :)
Where do you find the baot and the Friends to do that, its Amazing, thanks for sharing and bon voyage.@@lydiapaleschi
What an amazing adventure, I’d love to try that for a while, do you ever think about getting back on land?
Yes, it's always a sweet feeling arriving on land at the end of a long passage
Awesome adventure. What repairs are needed after the Atlantic crossing?
We had to repair the arch support to use the main traveller

So rad
Thanks for stopping by :)
What month did you leave from Europe to America? And how long did it took?
What an incredibly exciting adventure!! Can I ask how you found a boat to crew on… and how you made sure you weren’t stuck with weird people? 😂 thanks a bunch!
Hello! Congrats on your journey. I wanted to ask: when you talk about the West Indies, what are the places that we see in the video -even approximately? Thanks
HOLY SHEEPSHIT!! YOU ROCK CHICK(S)!!!❤😮
Is there any Chanel with longer videos of your journey? Thanks
❤
Too cool for school ☆☆☆
Keep your self safe.
From captain Jim?
how mucb time it took you to make this long journey !! 😃
I've crossed the atlantic 3 times now. But I'm just a normal guy and I didn't do it wearing a bikini so I guess nobody would be interested in my video of it 😂
I am sure people would be interested in your journey. But they'd probably be less interested in your spiteful attitude
@lydiapaleschi fair comment!
@lydiapaleschi I think they'd like his spiteful attitude. It's getting really old watching all these incredibly young individuals, making this lifestyle look so cheap, joyful, and easy. Those of us who have really crossed oceans know the challenges and don't candy coat it.
@@tvelocidad hahahahaaa, true story!
Did you visit Dominica, while in the W.I.?🇩🇲
Can anyone join? How does it work ..
Does Captain Jem have YT or any other SM account?Asking for a friend.Thank you
He doesn't document his journey. He spends most of his time at sea!
Time to get those sparrow tats you legitimately earned ✌️
Will you be able to sail upto Asia? Philippines?
Wait, was that a hamster in her armpit?
No a ferret
that volcano looks like the set of La Palma
Im 59 and still wondering; (specially in the ancient times) how could they sail to everythrre, despite the wind blows from amother direction (or from across)???
Sooooo you are saying the earth is not flat?
Please stay safe. The ocean can be dangerous
Hey 👋 can I join you I really love the sea 🌊 I went to school for navigation and I want to put it to work it's my passion
Tell us the extent of your passage fare..?
I just paid for my own food and immigration. Crossing the Atlantic probably cost me £500

@mikemcnamee6030
There is no age limit for learning. :)
Thank you for satisfying my decades-old curiosity.
What about food supply
How much does it cost u?
I travelled for 7 months on around £4k
@ thanks for replying, 7 months for 4k thats gud and wat about the boat cost? Did u rented it?
Can I join you
Love from India ❤
Lucky! I want to be alone at sea with beautiful girls too. I’m going to get into sailing.
Sounds great, would be fun, but when I hear these stories I'd love to do I say who's paying the bills....workkng/earning a wage when all this is happening
Tell me you are priviledged without using those words
Just one question from where all this money comes to leave life on your terms
Max found the boat and restored it. Then we split all of the costs. We live on anchor which is free, we cook on board and don't drink alcohol to keep costs down, we generate our own power and we work remotely too so we each have money coming in
I wish I had a wife like you wow lol ❤
And Where did you come up with the money?
Lol, how many key''s did you get through..
I'm only joking... : )
nice rich kid
Nice to have money
Tbh we don't have much so wouldn't know
Who pays for it all?
When dirty old men are not dirty old men….but helpful in living out your dreams. Don’t be offended now everyone!
Where to next on the trip of a lifetime?
Are you on RUclips
What are you called if so😊

dedek best
I have only one question. You can effort this trip, can't you effort to buy a razor to shave your armpits?
♥️♥️🚤🚤🛥️⛵
Shaving is not your thing, hm?
Just not my top priority during this trip
Do you want to come on my boat
Common day Moana
