YEH... I do it 'cause I like to known if my welds are holding...it is time consuming but not much and I have found some bad welds long before we got off the ground, which I believe is a good thing all around....... I use a quality leak check compound and the smallest pin hole will foam up big time.
@ 1:14 the stick out is crazy. Weld everything like that or just the tight spots? I assume you go through a lot of argon that way... Would be nice if you make a video on welder set up... What you guys use for tungsten and filler and such
I myself like a Gas welded frame and I like one that has a schrader valve, gage & nitrogen at about 60psi in it.
Robert That is a dying art!

Pretty cool!
Thanks Andy!
Cool build! Do you use the oxy acetylene to heat the welds afterward, or is it necessary?
which tungsten do you use?
Is that steel or aluminum
Randy, that is Chromoly steel
