Really beautiful organ playing. My mother learnt to play this piece of music on the piano in 1940 at Sherborne Girls school! She has now passed away but it will be played again at her memorial service in Chagford this summer.

Beautiful, Marcus my favourite piece as you have obviously been told - and for the avoidance of doubt 'Uncle Julian' is not yet dead. Thank you so much for this.

Thank you, Julian. I thought the inclusion of “to” would differentiate your living status from that of the late Queen… 😂 I’m very glad you are still very much shuffling along this mortal coil with the rest of us.

@@MarcusReeves The inclusion of 'to' does indeed, as does a healthy pulse rate. I look forward to further recitals.

How excellent that you are still in the go!
Hopefully that is still the case...
And how have you been the last year?

Hello Marcus, you play the piece very well, a wonderful organ work, it goes straight to the heart! I've now subscribed to your channel, I forgot the other day, and I'm looking forward to more beautiful music from you. Best regards, Roland

Thank you for your kind words and subscribing. I’m currently working on a lovely piece of Jongen recorded on Oloron, so watch this space!

Nice. Imagine how hard it is to play a lot of stuff at the same time. Congrats!

Thank you so much for dedicating it to Her Late Majesty, as well as your own uncle.
