You've me killed working along with you Adrian, just watching you makes an old woman like me73 yrs sweat.. 💚☘🎉😂
Never a dull moment. Least you found the leaks and got them repaired. 👌👌
Comment for the algorithm to help the channel 👍.
The snow is so beautiful
Add some pipe insulation around those shallow water lines, that helps along with leaving the water dribbling.
Great stuff Adrain as always ,it be like Sahara up there with all drainage u put in 😂😂 ,your pleasure to watch ,take care
Great video Adrian
You never need to mess with water pipes in the summer, it’s always Baltic/freezing conditions when you’re up to your elbows in near solid water 🥶🥶🥶🥶. Funny that eh. 😂😂😂😂😂. That’s why my fingers and joints are knackered nowadays.
Just love these vids! It’s like being there with you!☘️👍
Nice video that, them water leaks are a pain snow looked lovely
Well done keep it going the joys of farming
Ha Adrian that reminds me of working with my dad. Every time he’s start something small, take a half hour, something would go wrong and take half the day😂😂🤣🤣
2.00 hahahaha went from a farmer to max verstappen.😄😄
Your videos are just Bursting with useful information 👌 👍🏻 😀 stay safe 🏴
Despite the day to day farming challenges Adrian you still have time add some artistic flare introducing some nice camera angles to the vlogs… spring has nearly sprung 🌱 and the days getting longer ☀️
Cheers mate 👍
Hi, I say you have the shear grab sprained. It's better to take every second block so that both sides of the grab have same pressure cutting down. I hate that snow ❄️
Never pays to go near water leaks late in the day because lt always ends up been a bigger job then you think..take care.👍🤠🇮🇪
You are doin a great job. Keep on keeping on.
Great video Adrian. Never a dull moment. Enjoyed watching
Some new challenge every day. The joys of farming!
Another great video Adrian is all cows finished calving 👍👍👍👍
Wel done adrain another great video you always take all on your own... keep the videos coming
never a dull moment Adrian
Adrian I am truly in awe. Sunday evening here in Queensland Australia. Exact opposite weather. So hot, steamy, stormy, thunder and lightning. Terrific surprise to see your video. Take care of yourself. 😊
Just take it all in stride and move on👌
Wrap the pipe with used bale wrap, makes great insulation
I am constantly amazed by farmers. You can do and repair anything!!!
Hi Adrian
Just thought for future expansion
all the times I’ve had to put in water pipe or electric that might be covered with concrete I’ve put it in ductwork then if you get a leak in a pipe just attach the new to the old and pull it through if you are changing direction like T joint put in a inspection pit
And when the pipe gets nearer the surface put a good insulation round the pipe
Looking forward to spring seeing the cows outside all the best to you and your family
The very real but less known side of farming. You can teach everyone a lot through your channel because you are a very handy man. Its times like that when farmers especially need to talk to others and it all resonates with your recent fundraising effort for pieta house.
It's a bit like the story of the three wells. Well well well
Always a pain when you get an early-ish turn out only to have monsoons or snow to force them back in. But, at least you've had a few days or a couple of wks of less work, cheaper feed costs, DIY muck spreading.
I have started similar jobs late in the day and you wonder why. It's nice know I'm not the only one but sure all is well that ends well
Poor you, what a pain!
Best of luck with everything on the farm there 👍👍
Ye had some amount of snow up in cavan ,compared to us down here in kerry,
Another brilliant vid boss as normal real inspiration 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Keep up the good work Adrian
Spring is on its way…
Always look forward to your videos , your a real graffter Adrian, keep em coming xx
Great video .Nice neck warmer. Snow in spring is known a poor mans fertilizer because it has nitrogen in it and it slowly soaks into thawed ground . Glad you found water leaks . Have a great week .
Well Adrian, how u keeping lovely cattle great to get them sorted, good to get your water leak fixed 👍 great video as aways, chat soon, kieran from Laghey donegal town
Great video Adrian, your a credit to Farming, it would be great if you could show more of the non farming community how hard it is, its not all about driving around on a tractor, its a way of life and you have to love it to do it, mind it does not make it easy to love, water pipe is high, not much you can do with that its got to lowered its even to high to isolate, is there any way you could reroute round the outside of the farm buildings rather than dig up the forecourt that way you could work with what you have till you had it ready to couple up, any way as I always say everyone has an idea, very enjoyable Adrian keep up the good work
Thank you for giving me a good laugh at the beginning. When you sped up the video, I was thinking what the heck were you doing going so fast. The time change here got to me, not enough sleep!
I love your vids. Only complaint is that they aren't long enough, lol.
Enjoy the cold, pretty soon it'll be the hot summer.
Great one again hats off to you your great inspiration stay safe and well all of you 👍
Cracking video as always Adrian
Great video Adrian as always your a busy man hi 👌
Adrain, your grab looks to be benching to one side. Same as what ours did. The blade at the side eventually took lumps out of the steel that holds the 1st prong. We reinforced around where side of the grab is hinged with a bit of it's own steel plate and it seems to have sorted the issue. Also seems to cut alot better now as well. When ya think about it, it's a really weak stop when it's under hydraulic pressure.
I marked up a pic to show ya where but can't seem to share pics here.
I love watching the shear grab! Another wonderful video Adrian.
Hope your water line is not a difficult fix 👍👍😁
Ya should dig out line up high tape on heat tray line tape. On it all half do plug in line in winter that solve problem do over here on sprinkler lines in car parks here in NY
Love the videos keep it up👍🏼
2:01 rally car special that massey sounds tuned lol
Brilliant video adrain that was one f@#%!*ing nightmare adrian with the two leaks to tear up the concrete just wondering could you fits the likes of a steel manhole in the yard if it goes again rather than putting in concrete again only to rip it up for the next leak just a suggestion you were busy enough you could have done with no leak or that lovely phone call from the meter reading people🙉🙉🙉
As others have mentioned it's better take a block out miss nearly the width of a block so that each ram is under the same pressure when cutting out. If you work from right to left the left is doing the work and the right is working light. Similar to a twin ram linkbox which can bend rams if lifting on one corner. Don't think it'll do much harm.
All johnston shear grabs are like that mines been doing that since I got it never dose any harm had it 3 years now
We clip the tails 4 days after calving when the milk can go into the tank so there's no mistakes
How much can one man cope with, you amaze me Adrian you take it all in your stride and yet provide us with top class videos .please take care .GHTYAY
ADRIAN IS A SUPER HERO
We cope because for farmers it's just another normal day. In farming you can sit down in the evening and plan tomorrow out, but when tomorrow comes most of the time everything you have planned goes down the toilet, and you have to do everything you can, eighvin if it means working 18 hour days to get through the day and get the work done.
👍
Super video, Handling facilities are a must around cattle Adrian as you well know, Can I ask what cattle tag supplier you are with,?. Keep up the great videos..
Well
there is an insert that is to go into even the half inch heavy hydro
Adrian your vlogs are great. Can I ask a serious question. (1) have you ever been on a holiday with your family AWAY from your farm ? AND the other question is if you have, were you able to switch OFF from the farm and just enjoy the holiday. Not trying to be rude or offensive,
We do get away for a few days each year, haven’t been out of the country in over 14 years so yes a good holiday is long over due and something we need to make more time for as a family. This year is the year 👍
@@IFarmWeFarm Try and get away. If anyone deserves a bloody good holiday it's you. Great vids.. My name is Al short for Alan
Try cormack tags much better
Is your power washer broken?
Black leg is really horrible & often fatal. As a youngster I failed to spot it on one of my Dad's young animals & he died within 2 days. Highly recommend vaccination
It’s very lucky if you can catch it on time, you can hear it in there joints at times. Very transmissible too. Horrible thing for sure
Could you put an insulation foam around pipe like a swimming (pool noodles)?
That could work, would love to dig it up fully though and bury it down deep. A least then it’s done with if you get me 👍
👍👍👍
You never get a minute to yourself Adrian
Every minute Henry, I’m always with myself and I 😉🤣
if you have a water leak best way is to put the stop tap key on the underground tap and stick ya ear on it and listen ..
Anyone know the make of the dosing gun? And is there a different needle for injecting under skin and into muscle ?
Prima 6m vac gun, and vets or Agri store would have similar guns mate. I wouldn’t worry to much on the brand as there all more or less the same 👍
The work is never done. Enjoyed your video. Hope your having a nice weekend. I heard March was going to be a rough month weather wise.
Will you have a lot of silage left over this year?
Should have half a pit left when all’s done lad
@@IFarmWeFarm was just thinking that myself Adrian better than running out I guess busy time for you .👍
👍👍🐮
You should look into backing up your videos on a hard drive or something. I have heard of a couple of RUclips channels that were taken over by hackers.
Have all videos backed up on external hard drives Ciaran, just for sentiment reason more than anything but yes it’s a good idea for sure lad 👍
@@IFarmWeFarm Another suggestion; be carefull with future technology being able to play those videos with compatibility issues.
Can't understand how they laid that pipe that height, anyone with an ounce of sense knows that a pipe that high I always going to suffer from the frost. Additionally in the summer if it's that high it will be affected by the concrete heating up, which could lead to other risks like legonela. Love how your cows were getting excited by being let out, fancy always loosing your tags, do you think she does it deliberately. 😂🤗👍
Ya that pipe should never of been like that but I was working off farm that time so miss that one. Yes that cow would scratch herself on anything and the tags would bear the grunt of it. There are several cows like her 🤣
Pipe lagging might do something for it if you can't drop it any more.
Is that a new quad bike I see
There’s a video on the a while back lad
What clippers do you use
Just put some old insulation board over the pipes before you cement them in.
But sand over the water pipe
Murphys law. 🙈
in the honour of god will you buy philmac fittings..lol
That water leak under the house would put me in the clinic. We put a new water main across a field a few years ago and several days later, puddles started appearing. Faulty rolls of pipe. Started splitting under pressure. The swearing was atrocious.
We bought a large roll of pipe back a few years ago the started splitting after it was buried, it all had to be dug up and a rep came out to look at it. It was splitting at the seem. Some nightmare 🙈
You should buy urself a mini muck for all that bad silage and dung
Do u not think u should have a small wall to stand on at ur race instead of standing on the lower tube
Yes would be handy, or even a flip down step would even be better Paul
@@IFarmWeFarm well we have 3 races with small walls and a 4 race inside de shed with a walk way we do find with walk ways or walls u have a safe place to stand and u won't be worried about falling down
hearing protection
Wot?
@@Henbopty He said Ear Protection ........ hang on, I'll shout louder. 😎
💗👍👍🇨🇮🇨🇮🙏🙏
As with your temporary crush at home, build it. If you do not build it you will regret it later if you don't because of making it easier and safer earlier. Believe me at 70 y/o I have regretted to many things I delayed. I do hope you put some kind of insulation like styrofoam or something over your water line.
Yes I will build it this year, nothing fancy just something that does what I need a little bit easier
😁
FEEDING - with a HUGE expensive 4x4 tractor doing a job a smaller less expensive faster skid steer or better yet an AVANT should do 👀👀
85 THOUSAND subscribers - time to call AVANT for a demo machine to get delivered - it`ll be PERFECT for the small narrow spaces you are dealing with
It’s only a 4 cylinder tractor, short and compact. I did look at skid skid steers before and was offered a demo last year, only problem is when winter would be over I would have no real work for it hear. The tractor switches over to the disc mower in the summer and maintains the paddocks which is a vital job. It’s just more versatile for us but yes Skid steers are very handy
👀🙄🐾👍
Is this where I’m supposed to say 1st…🙄
Lol
Redrock sheargrab only grab
