- HOBART TASMANIA AUSTRALIA December 31, 2019. Hobart, the Capital of Tasmania, is best seen on a Red Bus hop on off tour when your time is limited. The central shopping area and the Elizabeth Mall are an easy walk and mostly level.Be sure to visit the Botanical Gardens, Salamanca Place & the Maritime Museum.
Was there in January 2011 on tour. Very memorable place to me and my then girlfriend, now my wife. To make it even more memorable, we bought our wedding ring there. Why? So we will always be reminded of Tasmania, a beautiful place.
Thank you so much for sharing your romantic memories of Hobart! Mike
Love and miss this place very much. hopefulle someday can be there again
I hope so too, Mike - AirflowNZ

Alas, thank you for your nice comment on Tasmania, Mike
Spent two months there in December 2019 n January 2020. Safe n beautiful city with Mt Wellington in the background n the Derwent in front. I remember walking from Hobart to MONA, walking from Royal Botanical Garden to Moonah using the bicycle path that runs parallel to the Derwent River, getting on the Hop On Hop Off for a city tour, enjoying a plate of fish n chips at the dock. Elizabeth Street mall needs a facelift. Hope to go back as soon as possible.
Thanks for sharing your visit to Hobart, hope that you are able to make a return soon, Mike

If there is any crown land in these shots, Parks and Wildlife Tasmania will Bushwack you by reviewing your film and fine you. Bushwack in the American vernacular of the word. Just call them sneaky bastards.
So far no fine! Yet to hear from my other video which shows the botanical gardens in Hobart in the grounds of former Governor General! cheers, Mike
