Same, i will have 900k + coins and every card at lvl 3 on day one when this drops giving me a huge advantage and i still don't like it at all, it changes the loadout system from being you picking the optimal loadout to compliment your playstyle to changing your playstyle to utilize the highest lvl cards you got through nothing but luck.

I couldn't agree more strongly with everything you said Kami, in particular I appreciate that you can be so calm, peaceful and collected about this, I wish I could too but I'm heartbroken and furious.
Just today I finally unlocked every single card in the game. I spent enormous amounts of gold on radiant chests to either grind for essence or unlock cards. I am now short on essence and gold. If they go through with this I will be forced to stop playing.
I payed for the founders pack, poured over 900 hours of my time into this game, brought all of my friends into this game, stuck through this game with all of it's beta issues because I really loved it and believed it deserved everything I gave it, but this is as far as I go. I cannot do the grind all over again, I cannot spend more money or time on this unrewarding system, and there is no way I am inviting my friends to play a game with such an egregious grind ahead of them. That's not fun and it's not fair.
This breaks my heart because I love this game and I was really happy today only to have that crushed by this news. I will miss this game.

Same, man. Thinking of skipping this patch. Don't think I can enjoy it. Maybe, maybe, they'll be able to fix it but until then, I'm not subjecting myself to this. It's not fun anymore. The customization and point system of the cards were what made one player's champion different from another. It's a personal choice/customization on which card to prioritize. That's not the case anymore. Kinda a huge bummer as it cripples the player.
People need to relax and stop getting emotional or a game. I mean in my opinion (I'm not speaking for everyone) the new card system doesn't seem that great, but I kind of like how you can get card levels to 5. I have a ton of essence and gold and all cards for everyone, and if my essence is gonna exchanged to gold then whats to point if I can't buy radiant chests with gold? But I bought the founders pack so I don't really need gold.
I actually kind of like the idea, it simplifies the process for newer players which I understand them wanting to do. As someone who was very new to FPS and MOBA games it was a lot to take in at first, I basically had to ignor loadouts and items until relatively quite late in the game. What I REALLY don't like is the progression/grinding system and the way it creates such a huge imbalance for newer players and older players alike despite those being the problems they're trying to solve. As much as I love the customization of champions with the current loadout system, if they have to simplify they system to make it better for newer or more casual players I don't mind, but not at this cost.
Yeah but you didn't just finish the grind today by using all of your gold and essence, I'm getting nothing out this except more grind. Also if a game doesn't elicit emotions why even play it? Some people need to manage or control their emotions better, but I feel like we're all doing that pretty well over here...
Going to stop playing paladins after ob64 update. They should probably focus more on fixing the bugs and making the servers run better(at least the southeast asia server) and not this bs card system where a person without paying can't even get a load out he wants for one champ (unless he plays the game all day every day)

RNG progression is always bad. I didn't like the essence system for various reasons but at least you could buy the cards that you wanted with essence. If they add the ability to buy radiant chests with crystals in a future patch then it's gonna be stupidly unfair for new players and free to play users

It's is pay2win when the grind is so fucking massive and the players with higher level card are objectively stronger than the others. Also you opened 700 dollars worth of chests? There's exemples of people spending 15000 dollars in Mass Effect 3 lootboxes. HiRez is going after the whales, by screwing everyone in the game.
The current system of essence is fine, because you unlock more choices of builds, not more power and you still can unlock the exact card you want by spending essence.
Also, those level 3 cards in ranked are a huge nerf to mobility to the majority of characters. Just go take a look at the characters that use mobility cards, like Andro, Cassie, Barik, Kinessa, Zhin. Every card that given them bonus to move speed was nerfed in effect per level and locked at level 3 is weaker than the current level 3 and 4 you can choose to have in your builds.

I was curious about it, and installed the pts client, i tried to max out viktor, i ve spend 600000 k gold and about 40000 cristals, i had an option to buy champion chests for 1 cristal,i dont know if they ll be avaible like this on the server. I still had to max out 2 legendaries and 1 comon card, after about 2 hours of opening chests ( give or take, i went often for some smoke breaks). 2 bloddy hours just opening chests.
I dont really mind grinding, i mean give me some champion points, let me unlock cards or level them up directly, not through rng.
And also, this card system is boring, you dont really get to make a champion that suits you.

Those are the main issues people are talking about in the forum, the new system takes away balance from casual mode, where the majority of players are, takes away any choice in your progression making it all rng on lootboxes, and builds lose any kind of customization and are reduced to "i'll use whatever build on my character that has more points into it".
I also don't mind grind, but the new system does nothing better than the current one and i couldn't imagine anyone inside HiRez honestly thinking it is better and that players would like it.
Left4Coragem I agree this is not fair. But essences werent fair neither. I always had low amount of them and couldnt buy legendaries that i wanted which meant most people were maining max 3 champs. I would get back to ob63 and just give everyone all cards for free.
Thing is, you will always have grindy progression systems, free2play need them to keep running, fuck i'm playing warframe now which i love it and it's a giant grindfest.
BUT, what Paladins was doing right, just like WarFrame still does, is that you had control over your grind, you could make choices on what you were going to prioritize to get that as fast as you can. So if you wanted a card, you could save essence for that, if you wanted a character, you could save gold for that, and because you could choose the level of the card in your build, it didn't made stronger, it gave you more options. Just like unlocking more characters didn't made you stronger, it was giving you more options to play and synergize with the group.
The new card system does nothing better. New players are on a massively disavantage over anyone else and any control over the grind was taken alway from the player to build a completely random card system so people can spend thousands of dollars buying power. Because HiRez is lazy and won't make a diferent version of the game for the chinese market.
Hold up guys. You can't just QUIT. You need to provide FEEDBACK! That way they can know what they're doing and HOW YOU FEEl ABOUT IT!
I personally side with Kami on this one exactly. The lack of cards I have since I'm in the middle of the road is kind of annoying as I have progressed. Now I wont have to worry about that. The grind is SUPER EXTREME though and I'll be sure to make my voice heard on that.
This takes out the selling point of paladins, that sets it apart from its competitors. The whole selling point was the deep customization, and this takes out all of the deck building, which was what made the game so fun

It's funny because I think hi-rez knew the reaction that there would be, as they did with the essence that no one wanted to be introduced(except for people like kami joshino etc?), in that occasion they did something intelligent, they made the grind so high that people finally accept the essence as long they reduce the grind, same here the system is stupid and most people forgot that this system was already proposed once but rejected to the point that never came to be seen, until today. And people like Kami say that he like the new system only hate for the grind, you see the pattern? Hi-rez win and when they reduce the grind people will praise Hi-rez for listen the community like always. EZ system but it works.

nah, even ranked is unbalanced right now. Some of the new legendaries and the reworks of some cards make 0 sense. Example: there's a card out there that at level 5 lets Lex do damaged equal to 90% of the max hp of the enemy. Level 3 of the card was 72% iirc so over half your hp with a right click and 0 aiming

Okay, I'm done, i was proud of Paladins, i was proud of Hi-Rez for having a respectable free to play game that isn't 100% lootboxes. but even at a max rank of 3 this is BULLSHIT. this is no joke, 100% what Starwars JUST FREAKIN DID and it killed the game. Progression being tied to lootboxes should never be supported. this is directly pay to win, in the EXACT SAME WAY Star Wars Battlefront 2 is. it is the EXACT SAME SYSTEM. Pay to get things faster in a PVP game is the EXACT same thing as pay to win. especially at lower tiers where you aren't playing against or with the best of the best. This is bullshit, and i disagree with you, the SYSTEM as a whole is bullshit. I love your videos, i've watched them for quite some time. but if this SYSTEM goes live, it will kill off the current playerbase and the leftovers will have to rebuild with new players. because UNLESS you are competitive, you will not have the TIME TO GRIND this new system out, while the older system the essence took a long time, you could still get the cards YOU wanted and to hell with everything else. I've been supporter of Paladins from as far back as the single map weird push the siege engine days, and this is sinking to a low they haven't even gone near before.

Well, this concept of "pay-to-not-have-to-grind" is not new, it happened with the crappy essence system too. If you think the essence system was terrible for new players, this new system is even worse. Congrats Hi-Rez.
I'm kinda new, 2 months in. Same with my friend and we both loved the shit out of this game. Essence isn't even that bad... We can actually craft the cards we want. This new system destroys the game and obliterates the balance that this game actually has on other class-based shooters. The current card system and in match relic items MAKES Paladins balanced fairly well. Everything is fucked up with the new system... Even comp... Some characters are going to be nerfed with lvl 3 cards and now everyone will be practically the same build... We have to quit this game and its only been a few months! We loved the game! Wtf is happening?!

This is not all good for competitive imo. This will change champion balance by ALOT, there are plenty of champions that currently you always want level 4 of certain cards, like Evie's blink distance, or pip's explosive flask cooldown. And some champions like drogoz or fernando have so many good cards that having 5 of them at lvl 3 will be amazing for them. Balance was already kind of bad, now it's gonna get even worse, yikes.
an extra lc is always welcomed in my opinion.they could even add more if they want now that they are free as well.the only thing the need to do is make the cards go up to only lvl 3 and decrease the gring on top of that.

Considering the recent controversy with Battlefront 2, I'm surprised they thought it was a good idea to make such drastic changes at this point in time. The core problems that people had with Battlefront 2 was a progression system tied to RNG with extremely unfair odds. This new system seems to share the same problem by the looks of it. And it doesn't take a genius mathematician to figure out that this is a progression system that will get incrementally more grindy as the roster of champions expand. In fact, new players that will start the game from here on out will be crippled severely by this system. It's akin to graduating college with a pile of student loans. This is not sustainable in the long term and as someone who just bought a founder's pack from the recent Steam sale, I can't help but be angry. The timing of this change overall is just bad.
Sorry Kami, if you don't see why people are calling a system that requires you to open over 2,000 chests to upgrade your stuff "pay to win," I don't know what to tell you. Yes, you can get into the semantics behind the term and how it's not technically accurate, but when the time investment is THIS different between paying and free players, saying that it's just "pay to advance faster" is tone deaf.

I did, but you're right, this comment was more addressed to his statement around 6:20 that comes across as dismissive of the p2w comments. I acknowledge that Kami seems reasonable about the system later in the video, but when the system is this bad, starting off the discussion with the technicality of the term and saying, "You're stupid, you don't know what pay to win means" isn't a great move.
This will last for 4-8 patches and then they come up with 2 different new currencies to grind and revert back to the old card system with everyone starting from the beginning. :p

The new card system might be giving us whatever we need right from the get go with all the cards, but with the new system, **we can no longer use + or - to customize our loadouts and the strength of our cards will be based around RNG since we can't get to level 5 without getting duplicates**.

Aside from that, it seems that we'll be able to get all our cards in our loadout to level 5 so long as we were able to get enough duplicates for it. This might appear good, but it actually removes a huge part of what made the loadout system good: **balancing Pros and Cons, as well as opportunity costs**. Now, people could go into quickplay and have all cards at level 5 so long as they have the duplicates for it, and in Competitive, everyone **only have cards at level 3** with no variation. Everyone will become uniform, and those who have grinded long enough will have a drastically **huge unfair advantage over those who only have level 1 cards**.
The problem here is the very core of their proposal is what is broken. No matter how much they adjust its stats, if the core is broken, it can't be fixed.
The root of the problem of this system is that it ties your progression to RNG, and it gives you innate advantages over other people. Before, everyone had **12 points** -- no more, no less. With the new system, new players would have **5 points**, current players would probably have around **15 points**, while those who will be able to survive the awful grind for level 5 cards will be able to get a whopping **25 points**. With the old system, everyone had 12 points. It's just that people who were able to grind the cards have a more versatile kit since they have a wider access to cards, but their cards are no better in terms of effectiveness than the cards of new players. Now, new players with **5 points can potentially go against an experienced player with 25 points**
Before, it was fun trying to distribute 12 points into 5 cards. Because of this, you had to make **a good loadout for various scenarios**. For example, I have an Inara build that has one focused for walls, another one focused for warder's field, and another one for damage reduction. Now, since all cards can be at level 5 at the same time, everyone will just use level 5s. I have a Terminus build with long distance jumps for use with his stun legendary, a defensive build for cramped maps where mobility isn't that needed, a ranged build which allows me to play Terminus as a Ranged burst finisher, etc. etc.
If you truly want to make the game fun for both casual and competitive players, here's what you need to do:
- Remove Essence as you've already planned
- Give us all the cards as you've already planned
- Maintain the current loadout system as it was already in the game
- Don't FUCK UP a great loadout system that is very fun to tweak with its customizability due to the Pros and Cons of distributing 12 points to 5 cards and making a card loadout for various scenarios. The current system allows Casual players to just use the Default deck or pull one off straight from a person on the leaderboard, and Dedicated players can tweak their decks on their own. The new system would just reward people who have grinded more and have more level 5 cards for Casual, while the new system would just make Ranked a homogenous mess with everyone having the same loadout card levels without any personal tweak to it.
- Don't FUCK UP Casual. The idea of having no point limits for Casual Mode is absurd. I understand Casual is less serious than Ranked, but it was still serious and could be used for practicing for Ranked. With the coming Casual changes, it would just reward people who have gotten more level 5 cards too much and having all cards at level 5 would actually break the loadouts. Heck, even Overwatch made a separate No-Limits mode for their absurdities. Once again, Keep Casual Casual and don't turn it into the abomination that it will become.
With the old system, I could spend hours **tweaking and theorizing** with all the permutations of the loadouts, researching loadouts that would fit my playstyle and my playstyle alone. Of course, one could easily just grab one from the leaderboard, but actually, that's the beauty of the old system. It allowed for both casual and dedicated play.

**With the new system, it punishes both players old and new alike; new players for not having enough level 3 or level 5 cards, and old players by limiting their customization options.**
What Hi-Rez is doing now simply hiding the grind by making the all cards *APPEAR* to be accessible to all, but actually shift the grind to making the cards actually as optimized as possible at level 5.

**PS:** To people saying it's not Pay 2 Win since you can't buy Radiant Chests with crystals anymore, think again and please don't swallow the lies Hi-Rez is shoving onto us. Hi-Rez already stated that they are planning to make Radiant Chests buyable again if not on OB 65, then in the near future. Also, even if one can't buy Radiant Chests directly, Radiant Chests which will be used in the new card levelling up system are acquirable through gold, and gold can be acquired FASTER through Account Boosters, VIP Status, and Golden Weapons. It might not be outright pay 2 win, but it is an **Indirect pay to win** through this painful Pay to Progress Faster method that gives a lot more advantages to those with levelled cards. Pay to Progress Faster might not be that bad at first glance, but it only takes one glance to find out that Pay to Progress faster is almost just as bad. Just look at **World of Tanks**' model wherein Premium Players get access to increased experience and credit gain allowing them to drastically lessen the amount of matches wherein they would have to fight with a "Stock" or "Unupgraded" tank. In WoT, fully upgraded tanks are placed in the same match making as stock tanks. Paladins will share the same bleak future if we don't stop this from being implemented. Take note: I said bleak future. I'm not saying it's dead or dying; I'm saying if it continues down this path, it will be.

Also some of those new legendaries are insane. Increase Bomb King’s blast radius by 150%? Makoa’s hook gets reset if the person you hooked dies within 4 seconds? In Pursuit deals 75% more damage? I sense a lot of tweaks

NINE YEARS to collect all cards to level 5. ~88,500 chests (boosted to 4 cards per chest)
Your math assumes after you cap the card it won't drop any more. It was confirmed that they continue to drop dupes even after you cap the cards. At the rate of 100 cards per day, not taking into account rarity of drops (which adds time) using the Coupon Collector's formula it would take a roll of ~360k cards on average to get all cards to level 5 meaning just over 9 years.
It's not pay to win, if pay you get screwed the same
How to fix this if they somehow decide to add it because reasons:
• make radiant chests cheaper
• since you get a champion chest each level, whenever the update goes live, players should get the number of chests for their current champ level (A level 20 Mal Damba gets 20 MalDamba Chests)
• Fix matchmaking which also based off of the amount of points on average per loadout (players with 20 points per loadout get matched with players with 20-25 per loadout, while players with only 10 queue with 5-10)
• Actually Balance

Well, Hi rez saw battlefront 2 lootbox drama and though: "Yeah, we can beat that". They couldn't just stick to skins, could they? Nope. They just have to alienate they playerbase.

Possible solutions:
-Reduce the amount of duplicates needed
-Add an option to buy the cards you want directly with either gold or VIP points (Probably won't happen since they want to sell more radiant chests)
-Instead of getting cards in the chests, you receive "Medals" for different champions, and you can spend medals to level up the cards you want for that champion. Medals would also be awarded at each mastery level. They don't even have to reduce the grind too much with this system since the players would be able to level up the cards they want and ignore the ones they don't.

lol yea, my friend and I are only 2 months in. We think Paladins is the best class-based shooter and thought so immediately once we jumped into the realm. We bought the founder's pack relatively quick after trying the game out. This patch kills the game for us. We have no game to go to now. Overwatch is shit and TF2 died many many MANY years ago with their dumb multi weapons, hats, shells and so on.
I like the new LG ( few of them still need a tweaks), but yeah that upgradeable card is trash

When paladins wasnt grindy enough already...they add this system to the cards. There is an extreme amount of rng to get the cards you want and if the devs plan to add more characters to paladins, the chances of getting a specific card you want gets lowered...

Worst update EVER. With all of the other updates, it was all good with me, but now I am thinking of buying OW or something like that. EIther OW or Competitive will be like casual from now on. Everyone would just play there, and have fun there just to get to play a champion in a "good way", or to play anywhere close to how it was before. It's such a bad update.Vivian was to overpowered at the start, but she is getting nerfed; now with this update, it sucks to play casual.

I think that's not a bad idea. They just do it in wrong way. I think it would be very interesting if there's no way to collect all cards. You have to work hard for every single card. And create your own style - you can't just copy other players, because you can't have the same deck. It seems really good for me. But not, if:
- matchmaking is so stupid. What we will see? New players with basic and a few achieved cards vs players holding almost everything?
- ability to buy chests. Ohh come on. You already have skins. I think it would be really fair if they just remove skins from free chests after open-beta. It may be reward for playing on early stage of the game and still source of money. Skins looks very nice. But if you can just buy everything, cards and skins...it's stupid.
And the worst thing for old players - chest per level. What they think is gonna happen? 50% say "bye bye paladins". The rest - new accounts.
So what we have? The game still full of bugs and cheaters, but now pay2win.

Thank you Kami for this video which is really useful! As you said, they need to adjust some part of its new gameplay (so weird to have a massive difference between QP and Ranked). I'm so sad to see that loaded customisation disappear.

What hi-rez could easily change it so that the duplicates are much more easily, like 1 dupe to get level 2 and so on, make it easier to get definitely, and make the chests more easy to get and to level up cards faster
Agree with every single word, I thought the same about the max level of a card set to 5 in casual and to 3 in competitive. Maybe was enough to increase the number of points spent in a loadout to 15, but overall this system equalize enourmosly the competitive scene, which is the one i'm.interested the most
What ever they just implicated should be available in custom games, have loadouts to level 5 and such. For everything else, they could simply just make loadouts now to 15 points and a level 4 cap on cards and they could still get what there trying to achieve.
How Lo-Rez can do this Right:
- Give some sort of compensation to players that have already grind and spent Essence on cards that are now going to be instantly unlocked for everyone.
- Take out Level 4 and 5 as they will not only create unnecessary grind and balance issues but it will be too tedious switching from Level 3 to Level 5 abilities if you are someone who plays both Ranked and Casual. You will want to play level 5 abilities in Casual but after getting used to it, you could struggle in ranked being forced to adjust to the level 3 Version and vise versa.
- Make the levels a 1/1 ratio, meaning it takes 1 duplicate to level a card, otherwise it will suck ass for new players. Their are too many cards to demand that amount of duplicates.
But Honestly, if they want to give players a reason to play Paladins over Overwatch outside of "It's Free To Play" they are definitely taking the wrong route as this will suffocate the experience for New Players, and is on the verge of or already Pay To Win which can push out the existing player base if they are not careful.
Spent over 1000 $ of crystals on the pts opening damage key chests and got only 6 legendary cards at level 5 out of it. Wew what are they thinking. Why can't

@KamiVS an issue you missed with the new system is that in "quick play" there is too large a disparity between level 1 and level 5 cards. So new players will find it harder to play against players that have put more time into collecting duplicate cards. I am pretty sure this will drive away new players. The levels of cards will make it much more difficult for hirez to ballance this mode of play.
I can't believe I'm saying this: *Inara Is So Insanely Broken*
The issue with vivian is her shield busting capabilities are disgusting and her ult has no duration as well as charges up while in use; change either of those aspects of her ult and she'll be fine to work around, but her sapper rounds legendary is stupid good and stacks with wrecker so if they've loaded up on frontliners, she's going to pretty much going to be the go-to gal to deal with their shields.
As for the card system, it doesn't sound bad in theory but needing to grind out the cards' levels without any way of directing where they go is certainly a pain in the ass and does create a huge wall, and having cards set at their highest level for casual and at level 3 for comp is going to cause quite the upset (whether that's good or bad is up to you). If casual had no point cap and comp had a 12 or 15 point cap (depending on if they kept the max level at 4 or 5), it could cause the upset they might have intended without causing an uproar (in particular with distance cards, maybe you're a zhin player who doesn't want to go the full distance with whirl and thus you have it low level whereas now you HAVE to have it at level 3). If they hit that middle ground of what players want and what they're implementing, it'll probably be a great system. just ditch the 'give everyone every card and force them to level up' aspect, and introduce new cards like new legendary cards or regular cards if you want hit those essence and gold reserves for players who have a mountain of them (34 champs getting a new legendary would mean spending 340,000 essence, i doubt too many players have THAT much essence and then some).
The best sollution to the grind I can think of is allow someone to upgrade the cards directly using gold. This lets the MASSIVE dragons hoard of gold most veterin player have stock piled go to use while still giving an out to newer players who want to dedicate to a main
Perhaps counterplay to Resilience would be a card that increases the durations of CC, like a utility slot
I might not have minded this change when I started playing, but I was sick of playing Paladins a long time ago and just keeping up to see if it improves.... but I don’t see it as doing so.... I don’t like how they have changed Androxus in multiple ways and it’s just.... can’t deal.
I remember that when i first started paladins i was so happy that they allowed you to increase the level of your card to get to a 12 point loadout instead of opting for a grind or pay to progress. This made the game the game feel fair. Now with this card leveling the sense of fairness is thrown aside in favour of adding a grind. How is it fair that someone can just have a better chance because of higher level cards? It is insane that Hi-rez thinks that this will not have a negative impact on the game.
PS: I did play the pts and experiencing this system firsthand just worries me more.

how to fix this system
1-rework essence into a currency that is earned through leveling up,its limited and can't be earned anywhere else
2-allow us to use essence to level up our cards
Hi Rez is possibly capping competitive gameplay at Level 3 for this patch. They might increase those levels in the upcoming updates. They are possibly doing this to counter the hate from people who have already gone through the grinding.

Re Vivian
All deploys need a tweek.
Instead of active till death or breaking. All deploys that dont have a life span (heals and Inara), should have an activation counter, ammo for turrets, battery pack for mines.
Also remove until death and keep the until broken or depleted.
Meaning a deploy could be used in a sacrificial play much like Tyra/Mal AoE patches to block point.
This would include barriers (shield or physical), healing wells, turrets (Barrik, Vivian) and traps (kinessa, Vivian).
I don't know many players that take bulldozer as its just as easy to kill the player to remove the deploy and doing this may change that approach.
Also: remember this is still in pts, it's not live yet, so we can hope they fix it

My opinion to fix the system which I say keep. Which is the champ that levels up with you, you unlock a chest for that champ specifically but it would have rng to, skins also emotes etc that are specific to that champ. when you get to duplicates that you've already maxed, it would get changed to gold so that you can spend that gold on chests for the champion types such as dmg but also that chest could unlock legendary skins and legendary emotes but the keys for that would be worth a reasonable amount of gold you know will be a grind. Everytime you get to the stats at the end of the game it shows who stood out more in each role every time you get up on that screen 3 times you should get a basic chest that has rng for every champ but it won't contain legendary anything just basic cards emotes etc. That way players who enjoy this game and put their hours into it, it will show especially for a specific champ and if they want to learn another champ they can do that as well while not feeling as if it's a chore or as if it's gonna take years to get to the final result.

I've complained over the stupid movement and ability nerfs, but this is changing the fundamentals of how the game works.
What they're saying is "we're not getting enough money out of the game, so we'll make hard on everybody that doesn't want to pay for it"
And this new system is so dirty I don't believe I'll continue to play at all.
I think what we are forgetting is that the progression...only matters in causal games, games that literally mean nothing in the grand spectrum of the game. Yes, it’s a huge difference, but we are acting like it’s going to destroy the game, it’s not. Will they change it? Probably, they will see how much everyone hates it and change it, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad system, just something they are trying, and can work on if it needs to be.
The cards are okay in Dirty Bomb, but in Dirty Bomb they don't have nearly enough. Load out system isn't bad imo, but a lot of people seem to complain about it.
Agree with u Kami, this new update is very bad. I love the new legendaries idea and also the balance in competitive mode, but now that I have unlocked 90% of all my cards with essences I need to start again grinding to have them. This make no sense at all. I tried in PTS, after 20 mins unlocking radiants I realized that I will never update all the cards I need to have my loadouts. WHAT THE HECK
They should make it that you can get 3 champion chest (the one in the video for cards) if you win 3 games with that champion similar with the first win of the day system, and tweak the numbers
I like the concept and the idea it was needed to make Ranked main game mode.There is no competetive game where the main game mode is casual.
