As a medical student this has been my life for almost 6 yrs now. Me and my husband live continents apart and we have pretty much lived our life together on phone (eating, sleeping, shopping), whatever i could cram into the little time I have. Difference of time zone makes it extremely hard to stay connected and do activities together, but one of us would stay up late to talk. I agree, love is in the smallest of things. Hoping, this will be the last year we have to live apart from each other and even when we are together, I will try and keep cherishing little things.

We’d sleep together on video call and I remembered how we’d snore and wake up in the middle of the night to sleepily say “I love you” to each other or if one of us woke up from a nightmare, we’d say “It’s okay my love, I’m here. i don't want to tell you how because it's better not to have relationships before marriage, so try to find a partner but in a formal manner when you are mature enough, as a teenager, i suggest you to focus on your career until you become an adult, if you're ready, then you can find one through your contacts or through groups with similar tastes, like Facebook groups or i don't see any other platform which can gather random strangers, but if you find the person you like, you have to be patient for the ldr, and accept their faults and try to make them a better person, until you are able to.

in my experience, one doesn't have much luck *looking* for a partner. one of my teachers once told me that once she stopped looking for love, she found it, and it happened unexpectedly. the exact same thing happened to me. i actually met someone just this year. it was over discord...so yes, you can find the love of your life virtually :) but the thing is, i only made a discord account to find friends. i joined a bunch of communities just to reach out and make connections. i never ever would have expected one of my friends on there to be my future partner. so i would tell you, make friends and be there for people. try to put yourself to the side for a while and be open to who you can make a connection with, as a friend, not necessarily a partner. i find that both romantic and non-romantic relationships form more beautifully that way.

You shouldn't wait until finishing your career, you'll spend the best years of your life alone, you can enjoy both sides of the coin, studying and having a romantic relationship. For me it was casual, I wasn't looking for anybody online, it just happened, he started to chat to me with a very polite and delicate compliment and that was what I liked from him, that he was so delicate and cute spite of his physical look (he looks like a hard tough guy lol), which reminds me that one can't judge a book by its cover.... It's a matter of time and patience and being clever to not fall with everyone, try to look deeper to determinate if that person is the right one. Greetings
in my experience, one doesn't have much luck *looking* for a partner. one of my teachers once told me that once she stopped looking for love, she found it, and it happened unexpectedly. the exact same thing happened to me. i actually met someone just this year. it was over discord...so yes, you can find the love of your life virtually :) but the thing is, i only made a discord account to find friends. i joined a bunch of communities just to reach out and make connections. i never ever would have expected one of my friends on there to be my future partner. so i would tell you, make friends and be there for people. try to put yourself to the side for a while and be open to who you can make a connection with, as a friend, not necessarily a partner. i find that both romantic and non-romantic relationships form more beautifully that way.

This was my favorite thing to do with my ex when we were together. We had to be careful to make sure his mother didn't catch him and it was a miracle if we were actually able to wake up together, but when we did my heart was filled with so much happiness. How I miss those days.

It attracts people that know what real love is not the f*ck boys/girls that pretend to love you. When I started to heal myself I noticed that real loves comes within not from somebody else.

Maybe it looks cute, but actually its sucks. I've been in such relationships for 3 years and it was terrible. I was always upset because of distance and it affected on my real life, friends and family.
Moreover, he was a kind of abuser, bc he always blamed me when I didn't want to sleep with my phone or laptop, or when I hanged out with my friends "too much", or something like that
