I backtested the 2 parts of the strategy (with MA 200 ema) and with 3 other super trend indicator on 4h and daily chart, but didn't work.
Mostly had loser trades, few neutral trades and very very few winners.
That strategy would only work in powerful uptrend or downtrend.
As soon as the market gets a bit choppy (which most of the time) losing money
OMG! It's much simpler and it makes sense. I've been exploring all indicators and strategy scripts in TV but I found that most of them are just noise! Thanks for sharing!

Great!! I use the supertrend indicator together with the ichimoku indicator. Buying when the supertrend is green and the candle is opened above the cloud and selling when the supertrend is red and the candle opens below the cloud.
Not tranding when the candle is inside the cloud.

I setup 2 Supertrend Indicators with 10, 3 and 20, 5 and setup alerts to let me know when they cross each other on either the uptrend or downtrend side for each pair on my watch list and so far it's almost like stealing compared to other things I've tried. This is great because there's no way I could sit and watch 20 different charts and catch this every time it happens.
Which tameframe do you use?
@@marcg7048 I verified that the trend was the same on all time frames from 30 min up to 1 day.
what platform do you use that gives you alerts for supertrend? The ones I use only alert for prices etc.

Outstanding strategy. I tried it this week with excellent results. The three lines makes a world of difference. In the past I would have made an entry where only two lines are shown and I would have loss money. This week I waited for all three lines and had 100% success. The only thing I added was the VWAP. Thank you. Sir.
which time frame do you use?
@@aaron_h2000 I trade on Think or Swim, but I like to use Trading View as a guide. The charts are better. I look at 5 min, and 30 minutes to see the overall trend. However, I trade using one minute. Tayfun, I started using this last week for the first time. I have traded at least two or three times per day. I am winning 100% of the time. I have been trading 18 months. Used all indicators. This is the BEST. Note, I also use the VWAP. And this week added the Awesome Oscillator to confirm movements. I also wait at least 5 to 10 minutes after the bell. The first few minutes are too crazy. Once it settles and you see the three supertrend appear and is confirm up or down with the Oscillator. You will never lose money. You have to wait for all three supertrends. Let me know how you did. @@randomguyoninternet6444 Never trade the first 15 to 30 minutes of the start in the morning. WAIT til the 3 Supertrend come out going up or down 45 degrees. Do not enter a trade if all three come out and they go sideways. The awesome oscillator is very helpful Wait till the histogram starts up or down from the zero line. They focus don't quit. You can do it. I hope you are not trading large amounts. Start small, very small, make $20, 50 or 100 as your target and build from there. I am making $300 to $500 to $1,000 a day everyday. Be patiance. What platform do you use. Think or Swim or something else?

@@OrvinReyes Not true. Look at a few charts and you’ll see this happen sometimes when prices are in a range. Also, he suggests using the supertrend 2 for stop placement.

Just saying, the trade from 2:17 is marked in the wrong place; it should be opened at the close of the candle, so bottom. Same with 4:41 and 7:53. Wow, I'm surprised you made this 3 times in the video. Still, thumb up from me for the second strategy.

Just found this video. Very helpful. I'm new to trading and the 3 supertrend method actually help make it easier to figure out when to enter trade. However, I also found that it was difficult to place an entry since price go up and down and sometimes the 3rd supertrend line turned red even when it opened with green, which made me hesitant. By the time I decided to place the trade, price had already gone way up. So I had to check my MACD as well to make sure that the lines cross before placing a trade.
only trade when its in a trend, do not trade in range that should really help you. also trade Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday .
Just use market structure then use the indicators to confirm what u have read from price action. That way ul be super successful

This strategy is great use this formula for the 3 super trend 1st one: ATR Period 10 ATR Multiper 2.5 2nd one : ATR Period 11 ATR Multiplier 3.5 3rd one: ATR Period 12 ATR Multiplier 4.5 test this strategy on 5 minute time frame the result is amazing

Hi Trading Journal, I have been following this strategies since couple of days. I took few live trades as well and got decent returns. I have few points to be clarified. 1. Since this is a slow indicator, can we trade in Day trading and what would be the time frame to be followed. 2. Three Super trends show signal as entry, but this opportunity got missed, can we enter in mid of the trend. 3. Is this strategy applicable for options trading.

interesting. looking at the Triple Trend strategy, right off the bat, you can see that its very easy to see the entry and exit points on any chart. it even helps you ID choppy sections and ID's when that's over. I'm 100% going to be adding this strategy to my collection. thank you!
