I don't think Riley is a villain...she's trying to pick up where Aunt Kate left off and save those kids, if possible. Her actions might be making things worse instead of better, though...
I don't think Riley could have left at any time. As soon as you put in the first tape, the trapdoor leading from the attic, where Riley entered, is locked. They are trapped in the attic by the demon haunting the tapes. Riley was more forced to do what the demon wanted, in order to escape with their life.
I never thought of Amanda as the bad guy. I always figured the earthly baddies was the tv company that enslaved Amanda. And the existential baddy is the demon they summoned.
7:15 This is truly the most important question, Blabbot deserved better :'< (also, side theory, when Amanda asks you three times if you want to hear her secret, maybe each time is a different demon asking, so you aren't making a deal with just one devil, your making a deal with three, and the Demon-Amanda-Creature is an embodiment of Rebecca and the three demons.)
I think Kate and Riley are so determined to investigate because Sam Coulton and Aunt Kate were either extremely close friends or were straight up dating. In the coffee break interview Sam only talked about 2 people; his daughter Amanda and Miss Kate the Librarian. This was when the show was a live action program on public access. From the newspaper, letters, and interview Kate was apparently a major champion for the show and encouraged the entire town to watch it before and after it was picked up by Hameln. Heck, considering the new demo she may have been the one to create the character Wooly. Once Sam started getting worried about Hameln and was interfering he went "missing" and the police were still investigating when Hameln came out with a statement accusing him of abandoning his daughter and show and just running off. They isolated Amanda and cut Kate off from her, announcing that all visits to the library were canceled from now on and that the company would take care of Amanda and keep the show going. Kate is then suddenly moonlighting as an investigator for Sam's disappearance and the paranormal events surrounding the show and keeps looking into it even though she knows they're going to kill her. She set up her favorite nibling to take over for her even though it puts them in danger because the little girl she loved is still out there and in danger. Tape Amanda didn't seem to know Kate was dead or missing, either, and seemed to genuinely care for and miss her so I don't think she was taken by the show. I think Hameln took her and Sam out to keep Amanda isolated and under their control. It definitely looks to me like Kate, at the very least, deeply loved Sam and Amanda. You don't dedicate yourself to the point it kills you for just anyone.
If I recall correctly, Kate is one of the people who helped Amanda the Adventurer grow big, likely by attracting the attention of Hameln. In fact, she might well have been an associate or employee of Hameln. If she is one of the people who helped AtA get big, she likely would have felt responsible for everything that befell Sam and Rebecca Coulton later, and started investigating Hameln as a way to atone. The note she leaves Riley saying that she doesn't have much time left likely suggests that she knew what Hameln would do to her if they found out , and given that she even felt the need to write it in the first place indicates that she knew Hameln was already on her tail.
@@everlastingdragon4520 She didn't work for Hameln, she was the local librarian who played the live action show every single day at the end of story time and encouraged local parents to tune in with their kids. Her word of mouth campaign was super successful and it became locally famous. As far as I know we don't know what attracted Hameln just yet. One of the letters in the attic mentioned that Kate was still working at the library even while she was doing investigations into the paranormal effects of the show after everything went bad that made the town think she'd gone crazy.
Since in the pied Piper story, he "sacrifices" the rats first, then the children. In the game we sacrifice a rat , then the doll who seemed to be a child and then we sacrifice blabber but ( a robot) so I think that signifies how hamlen company made a break in technology to create the show
Danm when you put it like that...the 'rat' might've been Sam getting close to finding the truth [and remember the cause of death for the fox was a 'bear trap' eerily similar to 'mouse traps' which you use to kill a rat for the pie], the 'doll' might symbolize Rebecca herself whos head was cutoff probably referring to her comment about 'the man in the headphones' implying they were already tampering with her mind that she could now hear voices telling her to do something she doesn't wanna do [Amanda also insists how something is wrong with woolys brain and gives him something to knock him out and then tries to cut his head off also eerily similar to the doll], and the 'blabber' might be Kate who was going to blab about what she found if they didn't stop her. Another eery detail about her trying to cut off woolys head, is if you choose not to help her, she says 'so your not going to help me? ok, I can do this by myself, go away' which in one of the tapes you see Sam is against what their doing with Rebecca and wants it to stop, then in another tape we hear about Sam going missing, and then another tape we see adults with Rebecca alone getting her to sign something. Sam was against whatever sinister thing they were planning and wanted them to stop, aka remove Rebecca from that environment, aka NOT help them, so their next move was to remove Sam and get Rebecca to sign herself over to them so they can do their sinister plans uninterrupted, aka 'do this by themselves' without Sams approval or interference, just as we the player couldn't do anything to save wooly. They literally made Sam 'go away' because he 'wouldnt help them' so they could do whatever dark magic they wanted with Rebecca 'by themselves' So in a weird twisted way Amanda is acting out what her irl self went through, possibly as a cry for help to let whoever is watching know whats been happening behind the scenes, and the reason wooly tries to intervene is because he was programmed by hamlin to keep Amanda from exposing that truth, that or wooly is aware that Amanda is corrupted by the entity and cant entirely be trusted, so although its exposing the truth, its also trying to claim more victims which wooly is trying to prevent.
I believe aunt Kate was promoting the live action show, the show Sam had before the company bought it and made it into the cartoon. It was fine until Hameln came into the picture, so perhaps they did make a deal once they had Rebecca on board. Kate knew something was going on with the cartoon because she was investigating the disappearances and then got a personal letter about a disappearance after she recommended the show. She realized something wasn't right with it. That's what I got from it, anyway.
There's also a theory that these three demons have giant armies and thus if Hamlen is summoning them then they need hosts for their army of demons, and what better host than children that people wouldn't harm, which allows these high ranked demons to do what they want to do. I do wonder if this is a "money thing" if the people who are wanting these demons summoned even knew what these actual demons did or just chose random demons from a book? Or if this is gonna go beyond money and for some bigger "end goal".

I still think it's actually Wooly who is one of the abd huys and not Amanda. Glad to see other people don't think Amanda is a two dimensional villain. Plus I found it odd that Wooly seemed so invested in making Amanda play the role of the demon that Hameln wanted to turn her into. I always thought that behavior was too sus to think it was just nothing.
Is the company that bought Amanda the Adventurer still around? How can a whole company disappear? Are they still making cursed productions with demons still running amok?
Woolie does tell the play not to do something and not once do people stop and think "maybe i shouldn't do this thing." But how do you stop the demon? Back with the first first game I likened it to the events that happen in the movie Sinister. Like the movie certain things had to be accomplished to release the demon and allow it to make a new friend aka you. In sinister in order for the demon to claim another child certain conditions had to be met, watch the films then move to help the demon move. The demon is taking children. But why? What do they gain? After Colton disappeared and they took over parents said how the show was strange and they didn't want their children watching it. Whatever deal must've failed perhaps it didn't count if they were forcing the person to do the steps. I'm going off topic a bit. This really makes me feel like its similar in action, Riley is doing like the pilot player dis
Here's information from the demo for Amanda the Adventurer 2 that I dug up from watching a video of it. It has some info you might find interesting. I'll be tracking all the Freudian slips that are either related to Amanda's (implied) past (mostly, the lines that are cut off, like the show itself doesn't want her to say them) or that demonstrate that she's just as trapped as Wooly and the Player character are and highlighting particular words. If I misquote these, forgive me. 1) I love to think of all the places I *could* *have* g- 2) This fun, I guess, but I really wish I could go see the world. 3) It gets awfully lonely in here at night. 4) It makes me think about- (the glitched dialogue later is likely something incriminating for the Hamelin company) 5) *We* *shouldn't* *talk* *about* *them.* ("them" likely refers to Hameln; notable, this is the only time in the Amanda the Adventurer series where Amanda seems genuinely scared of something outside the show) 6) (in response to "Sam" being entered as someone the player wants to see) Wait, that's- (is Hameln stopping Amanda from remembering her father, or does she still remember, but she has some kind of restraining bolt put on her so that she can't really say anything?) 7) (in response to "Kate" being entered as someone the player wants to see) I wish I could still visit her. (Kate was the aunt of the player character of AtA 1, so this game is likely not a prequel, or if it is, the player character is not Aunt Kate; was Amanda trying to use Aunt Kate to help her? She all but outright states that she's a slave to Hameln) 8) (in response to "Rebecca" being entered as someone the player wants to see) *Do* *you* *really* *think* *you* *could* *do* *that?* (This is likely one of to things: either 1) it's Amanda rather bluntly and grimly stating the truth that her human body is dead, or 2) it's actually Hameln speaking through Amanda. The implied threat in her tone makes me think that it's the second one, since all the other lines point to Rebecca Colton's personality still being alive within the character of Amanda) The new rat/possum character seems to be an expy of Swiper, given that both of its appearances have it stealing something from Amanda, but given that the symbol of the Hameln company is a stylized mouse/rat, maybe it also serves as a physical representation of the company in the cartoon world. Amanda certainly doesn't know what it is, so it's possible that it isn't originally supposed to be a character on the show.

I don't think we're the bad guys. I think we're here to free Amanda- or well Rebecca's soul. And her body being out there somewhere is unfortunately her dead body, hence the "Sometimes I can feel myself rotting".
I don't want to pressure you (even if by saying that I am putting on pressure but I really don't want to come off like that) but are you going to cover Orientation notebook? It is really interesting and i'm curious what theories could you make from it.
@@CamdenKaneakaNeptunesdaughter Tried to find that myself but either the book is too new or too well protected for there being pdf floating around. I did find a series of 5 youtube videos where a guy shows all the pages and they are readable but it's very tedious to use.
This game is so interesting, I love where it's hiding, Also, I really really wanna know about wooly, I feel bad for the poor guy... Also the bit at the start was everything 😂
* I just assumed the hand in Amanda 2 was just the Demon Amanda from the first game rather than a new entity. However, if it was the same entity, why didn't it just kill us? * If Piemon is trying to escape from the tape at the end of Amanda 1, why does Demon Amanda emerge from the attic and not the TV? Unless Demon Amanda and Piemon are separate entities
Out of bounds videos shows it's the same model but without the head, I think it's just the light and shadow effects make it look like it has a different skin. Could be a placeholder tho too, no one knows.
If the kids were entranced by the music, couldn’t we argue Riley was too? We don’t know Riley’s age obviously but if Sam and Kate are trapped in the Tv so adults can get trapped, maybe Riley is so entranced with the truth that they don’t see the flags
So Crowley is probably one of my favourite demons along with Lucy (it’s a shame we never got a more comic accurate version of the morning star but Tom Ellis dose an ok version even if he is nothing like the comics).
Small nothing theory what if the person who recording Amanda saying the demons names was Kate would make sense that she’d know so much and be interested on getting evidence
If the game can only progress via the player taking the actions of a villain or the enabler of the villain, wouldn't the real villain be the developer or writer who chose to design the progression that way?
This is a really good theory. I just hate the fact kate died trying to save her neice and wooly for amanda sake. It crazy how people will manipulate children irl for personal gain. I don't really know if riley is the villian or not bit we'll definitely know more in the second game.
Paimon doesn't work well with women, the reason why is because he's described as a man but with a face of woman. He isn't likely to possess Rebecca as a host/vessel due to his preferences when it comes to vessels/Hosts to use. Its more likely Balaam or Bael since they don't have preferences for vessels/Hosts
not tericho not knowing how to use them/them in a singular way. jokes aside i think we don't know Rileys gender so that they can be a bit of a blank slate for us
has anyone ever genuinely found the fake controversial food jokes (ie pineapple pizza, mint chip ice cream) funny like, at all, or do we just keep doing it out of some weird sense of obligation now
You know how do you want this coming back in chapter 5 I know that cuz I work for Puppy Playtime the people who made Puppy Playtime so yeah he's coming back in chapter 5 you just have to wait and see who's the main character for chapter 4 though it might be the day it might be a new character you have to wait and see

Extra kudos for the Supernatural screenshots hehe
I only started the show this year and recently finished it. It's one of my favourites now!
The theory of the canon ending for the 1st game is the one where the TV gets smashed and the masked figure appears.
As a fellow beard man myself, I like the shorter beard.
If the kids were entranced by the music, couldn’t we argue Riley was too? We don’t know Riley’s age obviously but if Sam and Kate are trapped in the Tv so adults can get trapped, maybe Riley is so entranced with the truth that they don’t see the flags
Also the demo takes place in the library. Could Aunt Kate potentially be a focus of the demo?
Huggy and Tericho lore lol. Nice
So Crowley is probably one of my favourite demons along with Lucy (it’s a shame we never got a more comic accurate version of the morning star but Tom Ellis dose an ok version even if he is nothing like the comics).
Hameln workers are the true bad guys of the game
What an intro 🤩🤣
I am glad someone likes my dumb humour!
13:12 talks about the demon being tied to knowledge, shows a Slaneeshi deamon, uuuuuummmmmmm
Haha yeah, the keeper of secrets! I still need to finish painting mine.
Small nothing theory what if the person who recording Amanda saying the demons names was Kate would make sense that she’d know so much and be interested on getting evidence
Curiosity may have killed the cat but satisfaction definitely brought it back 😅
Your theory is that Stolas's Dad is the main villain of Amanda the Adventurer.
That would make sence.
2:27 "... *Darker* version of Dora" XD XD XD jk
8:07 excuse me?
Mint chip is the BEST flavor
Hahaha that's true I can't believe he freaking said that what's the best color ever and favor it's funny how he said it😂
I hope you will do amanda the adventurer 2 full game to play and did you played amanda the adventurer 2 demo?
ruclips.net/video/dWc_5jPTzsQ/видео.htmlsi=hkO87cmGNki76juo yup! On the second channel
Thanks Tericho!@@Tericho
Very well done 🎉❤
I like mint chocolate chip man!🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm honestly not sure if the demo for the first game is really canon anymore. Just not enough similarity to the Steam release of Amanda 1.
Mint chocolate chip is my favourite.
Mine too! 🍨🍦
Same
Paimon doesn't work well with women, the reason why is because he's described as a man but with a face of woman. He isn't likely to possess Rebecca as a host/vessel due to his preferences when it comes to vessels/Hosts to use. Its more likely Balaam or Bael since they don't have preferences for vessels/Hosts
Paimooonn my emergency snack😂
Not that Paimon 🤣
not tericho not knowing how to use them/them in a singular way. jokes aside i think we don't know Rileys gender so that they can be a bit of a blank slate for us
has anyone ever genuinely found the fake controversial food jokes (ie pineapple pizza, mint chip ice cream) funny like, at all, or do we just keep doing it out of some weird sense of obligation now
That wasn't fake, I genuinely think mint chocolate chip ice cream is one of the most overrated flavours.
Where’s Tericho’s play through of Amanda 2?
ruclips.net/video/dWc_5jPTzsQ/видео.html for the demo. The full playthrough of the chapter will be on that channel too :D
@@Tericho thanks sm!! Love your content, didn’t know this channel existed, so definitely subscribing!!

You know how do you want this coming back in chapter 5 I know that cuz I work for Puppy Playtime the people who made Puppy Playtime so yeah he's coming back in chapter 5 you just have to wait and see who's the main character for chapter 4 though it might be the day it might be a new character you have to wait and see
You've only done like three videos on Amanda the adventure try to make it more I mean more myths about Amanda Ventura there's way more minutes than you think but if you don't make more f****** poppy play time
