Just wondering if you could have or should have made it as a three or four part sleeved table to make it more easily movable so it doesn’t take 5 guys to set-up.

Your sanding poses added Great personality to the video! Congratulations on such a wonderful build and success on your first one. I agree with the owner, black is a perfect contrast and will not go out of style like the other colors would, like shag carpet, and purple gremlin cars.

The black is classic and compliments the Olive wood beautifully. A lot of hard work and some pretty tedious, but a beautiful job, nonetheless. I always wanted a 4 foot round game table with Black Walnut and White resin. The combination favors cows hide. God Bless and thank you for sharing.

I would go for a black or dark blue table, maybe with a few sprinkles as star lights but that may be also a bit too much. I could also image the same colour as the chairs are in.

If I were to make this table for myself I would do something a bit more complex than what you did. Since it's such a big, complex table and I'd be spending a TON of money, and a LOT of time to make it, I would start with a semi transparent black (just like what you have hear, but I would want to have a small bit of light pass through.. I would put RGB LEDs in the bottom of the table, in the same rectangle shape about halfway between the edge and the center, all the way around.. so I would want some of that light to come through) but I would try to fade from that black on the bottom up to a clear surface... I'm not sure how many pours it would take, but I would want to mix the layers of pours with each other.... So I couldn't let the layer get to the hardness that you got this one to, because I would try to swirl the layers together manually, if possible. (it would take a LOT of babysitting to do this, but I may not be able to use the same epoxy you used.... heck I have no idea if there is even an epoxy that this would work with.... so I might just have to forego the manual swirling)
I would also try to place the cookies in a way that could use darker epoxy under any overhangs to create am exaggerated shadow around one or two sides of each one (I don't think I would do a very good job of describing the idea I have in my head, so I'll just leave at this lol) Basically I would want to have a VERY 3D shadow effect using the LEDs and the darker areas of epoxy... But I think I would HAVE TO experiment a bit on some small sample pieces before I did it on something the scale of the table.... :)

"Nanolayer" of anything can't provide any significant protection. One nanometer of material is only about 10 atoms thick (depends on what kind of atoms, of course). No matter how strong the material, you can probably remove several tens of nanometers of it by just rubbing it with finger.
Epoxy/wooden table is inherently not super durable. It may be somewhat resistant for scratches if the wood and resin are good, but it is vulnerable to hot objects and UV (the latter can be addressed with careful selection of the resin).
